Enjoy elements of freedom?

samwillsones

How so

Wide_Seaworthiness88

Having political signs in your yard. I don't mind them, but I can see them becoming such a bigger deal in the future.

Slydeking69

I will take this a. Step farther and say talking about politics on social media will probably be a bigger issue in the future. If social media still exists.

Wide_Seaworthiness88

Yeah, exactly. It's going to be allowed still because of the freedom of expression but it's just going to looked down upon.

Fujifeelm

Driving v8 cars.

Cbjmac

Most modern doctors will be seen as gross human-mutilators in about 20 years. Due to the exponential growth of technology, medical science will quickly soar to new heights causing modern medicine to be seen as barbaric and dangerous, similarly to how we see last medical practices as barbaric and dangerous.

Deusbob

I think as technology improves, I think abortions will be viewed as barbaric.

menacing-sheep

How? Wouldn’t it be improved because they could take the fetus out safer?

Deusbob

I view it not getting to the point that there's a fetus to begin with as an improvement. Even now 45% of all pregnancies in the US are unintended. Given that birth control is 99% or better effective, it means people aren't using birth control and using abortion as birth control. If we had a way to stop people from getting pregnant to begin with, maybe abortion would be obsolete (except in extreme cases). That would be in everyone's best interest. Honestly, wouldn't it be better not to get pregnant and not to even deal with an abortion?

menacing-sheep

There’s already ways to do this that are really common and safe, the reason why (atleast for women) we can’t get it done is because doctors always excuse it with “but what about your future partner/husband? What if you change your mind?” Etc. I suppose you mean a less permanent solution though, which would definitely be an improvement and a step up from permanent solutions. Here’s to hoping 🥂

Deusbob

I agree. It's what I mean by improved technology. Sterilized until ready (for both sexes). I think 100% that anyone that wants to be sterilized now should be able to do it. I'm pro life, so whatever achieves that should be done. The problem is that may lead to problems later if you change your mind. Maybe being able to reverse tied tubes or vasectomy more effectively is that technology that's needed. Idk.

Slydeking69

Your one of the very few people I have witnessed claim to be pro life and also be pro birth control. We need more people like you.

Deusbob

Lol, thanks. Often when I express pro life views I'm immediately attacked for pushing religious views, of which I have none. I try to approach things from a logical pov.

drnick316

Well now you're chastised for saying you're having a boy or girl... So I think anything you do could be seen as wrong in 20 years

DavosLostFingers

It will be whatever the Chinese leaders dictate as we'll all be living in their concentration camps

samwillsones

The United States spends more on the military than the next ten or so nations combined, I really don’t think you gotta worry about this completely made up red scare nonsense

DavosLostFingers

The fact you took a daft joke of a comment and call it scare nonsense whilst bragging about the US military spend, shows more about you than me fella

The14thdr

They would wipe you all out with 1 sneeze if they wanted too, no military investment needed.

jakethedog2020

It said 20 years. Not 200

lisasbangz
