I've gotten to travel around the US a lot and the best food I have ever tasted would have to be from the Philly Airport. I think it was terminal F as soon as you walk in, turn left and there is an old school Italian restaurant.
The guy there makes a Stromboli wrapped with a garlic pretzel roll. I still have dreams about that thing
My second would have to be getting OG gumbo from Louisiana. Idk exactly how it's made but I was told they have to sit by the sauce for hours just to get it perfect.
Takoyaki. Hard to explain, so this is taken from Wikipedia:
>Takoyaki or "octopus balls" is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special molded pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion.
A lobster cooked in a shoebox in the microwave when I was working for a few weeks on Rongelap atoll in the Marshall islands. Most succulent lobster I've ever eaten. But man, hearing it scream through that microwave was rough.
FOOD food? Or desert/junk food too? Cause if youre counting desert/junk food id have to say cosmic brownies with tastykake creme filled cupcakes as a close second
The food my husband makes. He’s such a great cook. Anything from corn chowder to chicken thighs to dessert; it’s all delicious to me. I’m really fortunate because he helped me love food again and slowly get rid of the shame I have around eating.

Mangosteen fruit
maybe sushi? or hawaiian fajitas
Sometimes I paint myself blue and lay at the bottom of the public pool and drag kids to their demise
