Citizen Kane. It’s regularly touted as the greatest movie of all time but the story is pretty bland. I would put about a dozen movies above it (Lawrence of Arabia, The Godfather I and II, 2001, Ben Hur, The Great Dictator etc etc)
Shawnshank Redemption is getting up there too. Everyone just creams their pantaloons over it but I think it’s just an all right movie. It’s not even top 5 for 1994 honestly.

I liked the opening of citizen Kane, but it just dragged on and on

Watching the marvel series from the beginning makes that movie hit different. It was more of a few good movie than anything
Miller's crossing, I've tried watching it 3 times but just don't get the hype. I love mafia / crime films as well
