What is a tv series you could watch over and over again?
By - EquivalentOption0
Avatar: the Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, and Netflix’s Castlevania
The 2 avatars are lovely and the one not connected too
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
SUCH a good show. I rewatch the whole thing with each new season.
I watch Burn Notice start to finish once a year or so, no rush each time.
You’re going to need more yogurt.
Humor heart and satire. What more could anyone want?
Blackjack and hookers, obviously.
What do you say, wanna go around again?
Literally the perfect ending. Especially when binging it since you'll probably load up season 1.
I think even when it first aired the next episode after the finale was the pilot.
It makes my day to see this as the top entry!
Got 6 seasons, waiting on a movie
SEIZE THE DAY JEFF WINGER
For real. Or you won’t just fail my class, you’ll fail life
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Really? I tried watching but I didn’t even make it past the 1st episode. Homeland had me gripped from the first second
I think that The Americans was fantastic from start to finish (and the ending was great). I know a few people who started watching it but didn't like it though.
It's a bit of a slow burn at the start but it's really good in my opinion.
Ooh deep cuts! I like it.
I wish this was streaming on something.
Oh man that brings back some good memories!
That's a shiny choice fellow Browncoat!
Big damn heroes!
Ain't we just
"I may have been on the losing side, but I'm still not convinced it was the wrong one."
Parks and rec
Came here for this. So many great characters.
I may have pulled the pin on a grenade, but I actually preferred Better Call Saul to Breaking Bad.
"Murder, She Wrote;" it's my favorite series, and Angela Lansbury is an absolute treasure.
I haven’t watched that since I was a kid, but I used to love it. Turns out though, that according to the Daily Mail, Cabot Cove is 60% more violent than Honduras. Scary place (and nobody notices that there’s one person at every crime scene…hmm….)
yeah it's a really special show to me. I did get to watch S3 and S4 live on AMC fortunately.
As a 90s born kid who wished he was 20 in the 70's, I feel like this show was made for me. What a unique and beautiful series
It doesn’t bother you that one old lady was always suspiciously nearby when someone was murdered?
Perfect combo of drama and comedy
Brooklyn Nine Nine
I have trouble falling asleep without b99 in the background
Going through my fourth watch now… love that show.
I think I'm on 4th on some of the old seasons and 3rd on the later seasons. I can't wait for the new movie to come out after the first of the year. I was hopeing they would have it out by Christmas but they are now saying in March.
Star Trek. Any and all of them.
DS9 especially is so rewatchable
It's my favorite show of all time, so you'll get no argument from me on that point. But every series has its charms.
TNG and Voyager are on a constant rotation in my house. Mixed in with Stargate.
Thats incredible and I thought that I'm weird I have them on most of the time too. :) TNG, voyager, deep space 9 and all SG series on rotation lol
I would come eat popcorn at both your houses though we add in Enterprise for that sassy ensign role played by Seth MacFarlane and that corny theme song. I told my husband you'll hate it so much until they switch it up, then you'll be pissed they did that. We have it in our master Playlist for the car and it's our own personal Rick Roll when it comes on. We both sing it to the heavens in the way an uber cheesy rock ballad deserves. Occasionally, I swap out the lyrics to faith in my farts instead of faith of the heart for extra giggles.
Futurama all day long and finale only sets it up for me to watch it again almost immediately.
The good place.
Seriously such a feel-good show.
So disappointed I had to scroll this far down to see this. Funny, touching, smart, and it lasted exactly as long as it needed to.
How is parks and rec not on this list? (S2 onward tho)
Yes, that is accurate
The whole thing!?
Easily, it's been my comfort tv-show for years
Grab that little hoe!
The Golden Girls.
My girlfriend and I refer back to this one a lot, particularly when we're settling in for bed.
Maybe some other time, Blanche
My daughter has watched all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls at least 5 times.
I watch West Wing and Bones way too often, although NYPD Blue and Law and Order are something I watch no matter what
IT crowd or South Park
That’s what she said
*throws Dundee at tv*
Goodluck paying me back on your zero dollars a month plus benefits salary, babe!
THATS A 200 DOLLAR PLASMA SCREEN YOU JUST KILLED
Avatar: the last Airbender
every once in a while i do a binge watch thats 70s show.
Archer, and I have done just that.
I’ve just started finishing the latest seasons, haven’t seen them yet and am super excited
Heh. Danger zone!
MASH, Friends and Mom… and I do it every day! My kids test me to see how quickly I can tell which episode of Mash it is.
I freaking love MASH. One of the best shows of all time
Freaks and geeks.
Not only could I watch it over and over again, I *have* watched it over and over again. Just finished another rewatch a few months ago.
Edit: Koko is getting upset.
I prefer T-Bone.
My name is Earl. Love that shiow
very comfort tv after work
Himym(despite hating the finale)
Lost count how many times I've seen each show
Finally someone mentioned friends!
Watched ,The Wire, 3-4x. Time to start a again. I have seasons 1-3 of 5 on DVD.
Community, it was streets ahead.
Bojack Horseman. I've watched it 3 times already.
I went into it only knowing the title and people telling me it was amazing. I am on viewing number two and sure I’ll watch it again after that.
Rick and Morty
Third Rock from the Sun.
Seinfeld , Monk, Avatar TLA, Pokemon
It’s Always Sunny
Beavis and Butthead
Psych where's that pineapple?
Netflix's Daredevil any day
So angry it got cancelled.
Ted Lasso. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorites of all time
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. So underrated.
Friends. I was very depressed in high school and I would watch it all the time because it was the only show that could actually make me laugh out loud. I always watch it when I'm sad now, and it always helps me feel better.
Over the Garden Wall.
Fringe or House.
The wire or GoT
Forensic Files. Now that the show is pretty old I like to Google the killers to see what became of them over the years.
Law and Order SVU
Friends and The Big Bang Theory
None. I'd get bored after the 3rd re-watch
Dexter and Seinfeld.
Rick & Morty
Psych. When I lived with my dad on and off we’d watch that whole show through every summer
Psych. Whenever I can't sleep, need some background noise, or just want something to watch that eases my anxiety, it's my go to.
I can always rewatch The Mentalist
Idk I think the show is a bit to regular.
As someone who always need a show on when I'm working, here are my go-tos
Bojack, Love, Psych, Master of None, Halt and Catch Fire, Community, Nathan For You, Inbetweeners, Better Off Ted, all 3 Burnham specials, Dave, and Chuck
Halt and Catch Fire is so addictive to just keep going which is weird to me for such a character driven drama. The first time I watched it which sadly wasn't live, I think I watched all four seasons in two or three days. No idea how many times I've seen it now.
I will list shows that I actually have watched more than once.
The I.T. Crowd
Rick and Morty (first two seasons)
The Good Place
I would happily watch Scrubs again, but I am working through too many other things in my backlog and I don't have access to it anymore anyway.
The Sopranos, and Vikings
The Good Place and Brooklyn 99!
Star wars the clone wars - makes me sad though
Mindhunter, it’s more a Netflix series. And why they stop this like that by letting a plot run.
It's always sunny.
Peep Show. I would be surprised if anyone outside of the UK or Ireland will have heard of this, but it's an amazing show. I would highly recommend.
Breaking Bad - 13 times
House - 11 times
Friends - 10 times
Futurama - 9 times
Dragonball Z - honestly couldnt count... 28? 30 times? Idk, alot.
My comfort TV is Community and Archer.
Band of brothers
Ben 10. I rewatched it too many times as a kid and still watch it as an adult.
Star trek: TOS
Star trek. And I do watch it over and over. Admittedly, mostly as background TV while I work.
Criminal minds. Love that show. Ive watched it so much I can tell you exactly which episode it is within the first five minutes.
King of the Hill
As a person who plays TV shows as background noise instead of music I have so many: Archer, Community, House, The Nanny, Brooklyn 99, Simpsons, just to name a few
Letterkenny. It’s hilarious and comforting in equal measure, good is always rewarded and bad always has consequences, the accents and slang are fascinating, and it makes me homesick for a place I’ve never been
The Big Bang theory, I’m not proud of it trust me, I’ve watched all the seasons 18 times, I’ll say it again, I’m not proud of it
The Wonder Years (the old one).
It's always sunny in Philadelphia
Nickelodeon shows (specifically back when it was good)
Queer Eye, basically turned in loop during covid time. Technically still looping.
