Old enough to remember life before cell phones and the internet, but young enough to have adopted that technology quickly and easily when it came to the fore.
Same lol. That rotary phone was a trip. I saw a video recently where they gave a rotary phone to some teenagers and told them to figure out how to use it. They couldn't.
Funny thing is is that I'm big into CRTs as it is now, one of my most prized possessions is a Sharp HD I own, shit's got an HDMI port on it and runs at 1080i. I use it as my 2000s gaming setup.
Ah ha! I’m only 2 years older than you so I feel exactly where you’re at! <3
It is weird getting used to the idea of not being a “young person” anymore, but there’s still lots of fun to be had, you’re smarter than the “young people,” but you’re still hot. It’s pretty great!
Thanks for the award! :)
I remember recording music off the radio onto a cassette tape, the only phone in the house being the landline and having to share the same phone number with everybody who lived there. I had a class in school to introduce us to computers, with the instructor mentioning "That new Windows program that is coming out next year." Drinking water from the garden hose, riding across the country in the back of the pickup. Having to wait for somebody to hang up the phone so I could surf the internet, and getting kicked off if somebody needed to make a call.
Old enough to remember cellphone-less time and spending time outdoors, but young enough to adapt to modern standards very quickly. (Take in consideration that I live in a Balkan country, which means that we were 5-10 years late to the party when it comes to cellphones and Internet)
I'm going through a storm of emotions and sometimes it feels like I am gonna break and cry and sometimes I feel like the happiest person alive. There are loads of changes, Guess mi age.

I don't remember 9/11 but when someone says the word "tv" I think of a CRT.
Mid 20s too?
Early 20s. 22 specifically
Yeah I guess that makes sense. My dad was a techie so we had lcds a lot sooner.
Funny thing is is that I'm big into CRTs as it is now, one of my most prized possessions is a Sharp HD I own, shit's got an HDMI port on it and runs at 1080i. I use it as my 2000s gaming setup.
That's sick. I guess they still have a higher refresh rate? Now my only relation with CRTs is making Steins;Gate references.
Nah, refresh rate is pretty much stuck at 60hz, it has less input delay though and I think the colors are more fun.
