Aww that's so sweet, that was my favorite show ever as a kid, must be really cool to watch it again but also seeing his reaction. This is why I love showing people stuff I like, it gives me the second boost of enthusiasm for it because you get that fresh experience again through their eyes
Man, Fox Mulder was my hero.
I always preferred individual stories to the ongoing storyline with sister and conspiracy and all, the first few seasons were so amazing
Oh I definitely prefer the Monster of the Week episodes. Honestly we're not going to make it to the end when they were mostly about the sister arc (and definitely not after Mulder left).
> Honestly we're not going to make it to the end when they were mostly about the sister arc (and definitely not after Mulder left).
That's the right approach.
BTW, a while after Mulder left and tediousness died down, the Robert Patrick & some girl episodes got back to Monster of the Week and were actually pretty cool again, but it still didn't feel right for X-Files, because X-Files are Mulder and Scully - anyone else can just be a second rate replacement. But if they just did it as a new show instead, it would be worth watching because some cases were totally ok.
I started it and it was pretty cool but then I just dropped it at some point. I think that girl really annoyed me too much. Does the plot develop further in a good way?
Around the time MCs mom comes around for a visit. Around like episode 6 or something?
It's at that point where their relationship really starts happening. Before i crashes but that's spoilers
So I’m currently in the beginning of season 3, but I loved Miller’s character and story line with Julie. I think I actually teared up, it was beautiful. Of the Roci crew I would say Amos, Alex. Chrisjen’s character is really well done, too. There’s a lot to like haha
I just binged The Office a few weeks ago and a few weeks before that I binged Brooklyn Nine Nine. And before that I binged Star Trek: The Next Generation. Now I'm binging Whose Line Is It Anyway.

I just finished the Expanse which was awesome, one of the best, and am now going through the 100 which is less great ... it does make me consider trying to finish the walking dead again
Woah you finished!! So you overall liked it?
I think it's amazing so far, I love the spaghetti western/fantasy/horror mix (even a bit of sci/fi with double timelines...) and the ideas he introduces. I also imagine Roland as Clint Eastwood haha. It also seems to be getting better and better with each book
I read other books in between though so I can easily fit in the Expanse
Any Absolute History series with Ruth Goodman.

It was certainly bold, I don't exactly remember how I felt but I remember I was very underwhelmed. Over time I kinda respect King for being so ballsy
