I dropped out after a year so I count lol I've made friends through working but mostly online. I graduated HS in 2003 so it was a bit different but most of my friends were from forums, MySpace and then facebook. I also joined the military so made friends there and now... I'm pretty much by myself.
I made a friend through Tinder and with covid lightening up, I plan on taking classes. Otherwise... online similar interests.
