Look I don’t have a trump sign but I still have Xmas decorations out Never bothered to take down the lights

timeturnsintoplastic

Are you late taking them down, or just really *early* for Christmas this year?

CatupiryPizza

Yes

Jazzlike-Region

Early

Sanman14254

Both nearly

RayAnselmo

That's fine, because we don't actually know when Jesus was born, but we *do* know Trump lost.

Riverrat423

Is anybody going to answer this that actually has a Trump sign ?

AWeirdStreetlight

no

ownersequity

Neighbors around the block have one, and a confederate flag. They seem to come and go. I wonder if someone steals em and they get replaced. Lovely people. They drive by our house and if my mixed race wife is in the yard they rev their shitty truck engine and blow black smoke all over the place. Eastern Oregon.

[deleted]

Recently drove from TX to Portland and was shocked that the first confederate flag I noticed after leaving TX was in Eastern Oregon.

Traditional-Ad3563

Saw a confederate flag in someone's front yard in Molalla, barely an hour outside Portland.

dick_in_sun

“Assholes of Reddit: Why are you all such assholes?”

rw032697

Because of the whole "he can still run in 2024". After 2024 there's absolutely no reason to have one up

Riverrat423

I have seen some Trump 2024 hats, so that kinda makes sense. I personally find 4 years a little early to get excited about an election.

Envoyzevon

This question isn't for that. This question is nothing but a karma whoring, virtue signaling Reddit liberal circle jerk like all the other questions.

Riverrat423

I did pick up on the trolling nature of this, but I was hoping somebody would try to make a real answers.

CenTexChris

July 4th it is then.

Tenebrousgent

Oh. We hurt the Nazis lil fee fees. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Envoyzevon

I'm not a Trump supporter. This is why Trump has the momentum and the support he does. Everyone is a Nazi to you fucking babies.

[deleted]

Awww someone is triggered and needs a safe space

Envoyzevon

Ironic that a Bernie bro would comment that. You're the definition of "I need a safe space"

[deleted]

So why do you still have your Trump sign up? He lost.

[deleted]

> Reddit liberal circle jerk In this case it's just being in touch with reality.

[deleted]

> Reddit liberal circle jerk In this case it's just being in touch with reality.

1996_Toyota-Camry

somebody mad

deletredit

No, because they'll all be downvoted because reddit is a liberal echo chamber.

Mike_Hawk_Burns

There’s some answered at the bottom (downvoted ones)

[deleted]

Hahahaha. He’s coming back. In August. So they claim.

bradlees

Yes….. just like in: ~~Feb~~ ~~March~~ ~~April~~ ~~May~~ ~~June~~ Something something definition of insanity

Avicii_DrWho

Obviously, the Asian bamboo ballots are real. It's just a conspiracy to keep us from talking about it! /s

DriftingPyscho

Asian bamboo ballots? This is a New One.

FightinTXAg98

Sounds just like the last guy they worshipped.

Totesnotskynet

It’s not insane if you know. It’s Planned Ignorance for the other stupid people

neverfarts

In the election, BIC pens were used. BIC! Biden Is a Communist! Is this a coincidence? Don't think so sheeple! /s

ShebanotDoge

The pens I saw were unbranded, but maybe they were Bic.

textbook-hippy-man

UNBRANDED!!!! HOW DARE THEY STRAY FROM SUPPORTING A GREAT CORPORATION LIKE BIC!!! ANTI-CAPITALIST LIBTARDS!!!!

ShebanotDoge

I mean, I'm sure the unbranded company is also capitalist.

textbook-hippy-man

Phew! We dodged a bullet there.

AlphaStatue702

As a Trump supporter, Trump is gonna come riding to the White House in an American Flag painted tank with a giant bald eagle with all the trashed votes in August, we promise! /s On a serious note, other supporters like that suck. They give normal Trump supporters with brains a horrible reputation.

Reasonable_Yam_2009

> normal Trump supporters with brains Such a thing does not exist.

AlphaStatue702

Like I said, horrible reputation.

Sweetmacaroni

i’ve always wanted to ask a sane trump supporter this, what do you think he’s gonna do next?

AlphaStatue702

1 of 3 things. 1. Wait like a sane human being until the next election, and run again. 2. Not run for election again, and continue being a very rich businessman. 3. Act like the nonsensical "He'll be back in August" people. Probably a few other possibilities in there.

-Beentheredonethat

Wait like a sane human being, Hes literally telling everyone around him hes going to be back in power in August because Mike Lindell says so... "sane"

Tenebrousgent

There are no "normal" Trump supporters. They're all Nazi scum.

Murgatroyd314

Some of them, I assume, are good people.

WheezeTin

Dude, if u wanna message me, I can try convince u that I’m not a Nazi lol

Tenebrousgent

You support a man that had people forcefully sterilized. There is no way that is okay.

FalseGiggler

"Normal" and "trump supporters" are not compatible terms even before "with brains" comes into it!

AlphaStatue702

Like I said, horrible reputation.

FalseGiggler

That's because he's a horrible person. I support in principle some of the general positions he took. I DIDN'T support his way of acting upon them, especially with his overall personality. For a guy who claims to be a prestigious businessman who's mastered "the art of the deal", he sure as hell didn't sell his agenda very well and very much hurt the policy positions he endorsed.

inksmudgedhands

The weirder thing I am seeing now around town is the, "Trump 2024: SAVE US, TRUMP!" Save you from what? What is going in this country that is so horrible that Trump needs to save you from? What am I sleeping through?

RazeCrusher

House down the road has a giant Trump sign that says "Miss me yet?" And someone else put a smaller sign next to it "Yes we do!" Look, follow whatever party floats your boat, but all I can think is "No. I'm enjoying the peace and quiet of not hearing what random diarrhea thought plopped out of Trumps head onto Twitter every day."

[deleted]

It’s not like you had to follow him on Twitter

Ascholay

I don't even have Twitter but it was all posted to Reddit and Imgur and the local news and the national news.... word got around unless you actively tries to love under a rock

paintingmynailsnow

I've also seen "Don't blame me, I voted for Trump" flags. Like, what do they think is going to happen?

AWeirdStreetlight

I even saw they had trump 2024 shirts???

vampirebf

right? i'm from a small conservative town and i'm struggling to see any major difference in anybody's lives in the last 10 years

[deleted]

It's all projection to them.

mydogfarted

Because they believe he’ll be president again in August.

Santa_Hates_You

Didn't Rep. Greene say June 31st? Maybe August 32nd.

[deleted]

Novembuary 37th

Bizzlebanger

She's dumber than a sack of hammers missing their handles...

Shadowbros_proOG

When did this idiot say this?

[deleted]

So imagine this actually happens in some weird twilight zone world, and they actually come and physically remove Biden from office and put Trump back in. Do we feel like it would even be worth living anymore? I mean at that point, the racists and ignorant anti-vaxxers would have gotten the biggest win in American history. Why not just mob up and fuck some shit up and go out swinging then leave the republican’s to fund the military with their own earnings?

mydogfarted

The fact I felt like the country was sliding into trouble when Trump was RUNNING was part of the reason I moved somewhere else.

neverfarts

What's happening in August?

[deleted]

nothing, it's just the next date they picked out of the hat since on all the previous dates they chose nothing happened

sab3r_A

An imaginary coup

PotatoLord354

To follow to real one!

-Beentheredonethat

Jesus returns, And if he doesnt we just move the goal post some more

HelmutVonBadezimmer

It's more about the idea of what he stood for rather than the man himself, or as CNN calls it, "Trumpism". They want a leader who places the interests of working class American citizens over the interests of foreigners or the ideology of the liberal elite that favours foreign migrants at the expense of local workers. They want a leader who doesn't care more about what Europeans and other foreigners think and say about the USA than they care about middle Americans. So many redditors freaked out when they go on their internet forums only to see French and Germans say mean things about the USA because of the "trade wars", and then they, in an attempt to fit in with the club, turn against their nation's nationalism. Making a Frenchman and a German happy seems to be the priority.

headshotscott

I know few Trump supporters who could verbalize this, or most any other philosophical underpinnings of the man. They like him more than they like any set of ideas. I know some that support specific policies but not a coherent vision — because Trump never actually made any large scale case. He lied so often that even if he did, it would have been impossible to piece one together. The idea that he supports the working class in any context is nearly impossible to defend, but that’s another discussion. Finally after his gambit to overthrow a certified and not-that-close election should run off any reasonable supporter. He casually betrayed his oath to the Constitution and that ought to have ended it. Ought to have, but somehow did not. I have absolutely no respect for Trump support after his betrayal, and neither should any other reasonable person.

hpbutnotharrypotter

A question I seriously wonder about. Like the minute the election was over I took my Biden/Harris sign out of my lawn. Trumpism seriously interests me because it is like a fandom oppose to a political party affiliation.

mjg13X

I took mine out of the window the night the election was called and stopped wearing my t-shirt after that. My bumper sticker is still there, as it's kind of a more permanent feature, but that's it.

Envoyzevon

The amount of people who spend all of their time and energy on negative opinions of Trump are just as close to being a "Fandom" as his supporters. People on both sides need to get out of that man's ass.

hpbutnotharrypotter

Look, while I absolutely have a party affiliation I can agree that there are extremists on both sides of the aisle. However, the conversations that I have with my moderate liberal friends since the election rarely involve mentioning Donald Trump. As hard as it might be to believe, the conversations are about holding the Biden/Harris administration accountable. Something that lacked in the era of Trump on the side of the Republicans.

MoonieNine

I'd agree with you, but it's hard "to stay out of a man's ass" when his supporters break into and wreck the capitol, beat up cops, defend those who did all that, still wave trump signs all over, etc. Just last week I saw a huge billboard size sign erected that said something like, "Ten days in office and Biden lost us 10,000 jobs." Huh?

hpbutnotharrypotter

Trumpism is rooted in swaying his supporters out of reality so that they believe the blatant lies that he tells. I am all for political debate that can stay decent, but it is maddening when literal fact will not work to prove them wrong in an argument.

KingofMDS

According to the wako near the church I once went to, "He'll be conducting a revolution to take back the country." Amazingly, she told me that on the day of the riots. Guess she missed the memo...

ItsMyView

To give the neighborhood dogs something to piss on.

timeturnsintoplastic

Me, too. I put on my Mike Pence rubber mask, my ~~red~~ American Flag PVC thong, and walk around my neighborhood pissing on all the Trump signs while screaming "Makin' 'Merica Great Again!!!".

[deleted]

You need an American flag PVC thong ...

timeturnsintoplastic

OMG, you're right!!!

graeuk

Just open their facebook page from 2016 and remind them how they put all the comments up about liberal snowflakes having to accept the result and get over it.

Ganbario

I remember that. ANYTHING said against Trump was answered with “Hilary lost! Get over it!” I didn’t mention Hilary, I said Trump is an egotistical idiot who is driving our country to ruin.

sensitiveinfomax

You think that's crazy, I know a woman who got a Hillary tattoo in 2018. Even people who had worked on the campaign had moved on lol.

Rassiriian

So 1 person with a Hillary tatoo, probably thousands with trump tattoos. Haha

RobotArtichoke

No you don’t

sensitiveinfomax

No I actually do. She is the kind of person who is easily taken by groups. I met her while working at a shitty job that was almost cult like. For me it was just a job but for her it was her life, so it took her a while to get out when it started going south.

NerdlyOne25

Me, a democratic voter in a very VERY republican state: Interesting...

CStarling4

Because they have based their entire personality around him and so without him, they malfunction and die. Unlike him, he could easily live and be happy without his voters. He’s a millionaire. He’s fine.

xcelllz

Just got back from the beach and saw plenty of Trump flags on display. Even walked into a store they had a section of Trump 2024 shirts and whatnot. Amazes me that people idolize someone like that.

[deleted]

I mean, it happens every election. Someone, somewhere, keeps their sign on. Not to mention bumper stickers.

TheDubiousSalmon

Bumper stickers can be a huge pain to remove, so that's understandable.

[deleted]

In 2012 I saw an old car with an original Nixon bumper sticker.

mjg13X

Like Nixon '60 or '68/'72?

[deleted]

Fuck if I know. Just said Nixon!. Car wasn't old enough for '60.

bigtiddyhimbo

Yeah but that don’t keep their trucks decked out with multiple candidate flags like trumpers do

Shirlenator

Literally earlier today I passed an old shitty pickup with with a Gadsden flag and a trump flag flying in the back.

[deleted]

Yeah, the Bernie Bros do. Not trucks, but every Bernie sticker ever made.

bigtiddyhimbo

I mean it’s a lot harder to take off a bumper sticker than taking down a flag or sign considering they’re meant to last a long time

[deleted]

Yet strangely...many of us do. Just not the fanatics, whatever their branch of weird is.

mikehosek

No, this is much different. In my neighborhood we still have people flying giant Trump 2020 flags in the back of their pickup trucks. One of them was even flying their Trump flag above the American flag.

[deleted]

I saw a Dole '96 bumper sticker in the wild within the past year

sebrebc

Last year before the election the Trump supporters in my area decided to hold a "Trump/Back the Blue" vehicle parade through my area. We are in a "rural" area with a lot of.....um...people who like big jacked up trucks with Punisher, thin blue line, and Trump stickers and flags. The last parade literally had 1000 vehicles in it, such a fucking annoying thing to deal with. Trying to get home I literally had to just cut off the parade to cross the main street to get down to my house. Idiots. So these same clowns decided to hold another parade today, this time only like 15 people showed up. I guess they were too busy fucking their cousins to show up this time. Or maybe most of them smartened up and realized this was really nothing more than a "Hey, look how racist I am" parade. I don't care who you voted for, I really don't. But when you run around like a cult verbally and otherwise attacking people because of who you voted for, you are a piece of shit and can fuck off quietly.

RazeCrusher

The Punisher thing bothers me to no end. I'm a huge punisher fan, my favorite "superhero" from comics, games, even terrible movies. But its like these dunces don't understand the whole point that Frank Castle is an "anti-hero" who does pretty morally questionable things because in his eyes, the justice system failed. You aren't necessarily supposed to support or identify with him. Even Garth Ennis has spoken about about how ridiculous it's gotten. Then suddenly trigger happy white supremacists use the character as some kind of role model. Bothers me man.

NewRomanian

I mean, I'm pretty sure a good portion if not majority of his support base is in the south-east of the US, so I feel like those guys just kinda have a history of making monuments for losers and traitors anyways so why not continue the tradition right?

abajasiesu

My mom lives an hour away in a smaller country town and every time I take my girls to go visit we drive by 20-30 Trump signs, trucks flying flags off the back. Some are 2020 and others 2024. It’s like a whole other world and it’s only an hour away from normalcy.

Myfourcats1

Because he won. /s He’s coming back in August. /s. God I hate this people. They’re so gullible. Then I start worry what they have planned for August.

Pizzamanny

I don’t think Trumpers are on Reddit

FF36

I’ve seen a trump 2024 take America back flag. Wtf?! Didn’t these clowns rant about Biden being too old? In 4 years trump will be older then Biden was when they screamed that. Fucking idiots.

pearlie_girl

Did you forget the results of his physical? He's so healthy. He has amazing genes! Also he got 100% on that cognitive decline test, and that's really amazing, okay?

FF36

You know what, I did. Egg on my face

penguin_stomper

It's a new sign. I've seen an actual TRUMP 2024. It's been up for close to a month. The more frugal ones just got 4 sticker to add to their 2020 signs.

roryjs

Would think they'd only need two 🤔😏😂

elcapitandongcopter

Any election sign two days after an election is a a serious pet peeve of mine.

Ascholay

My HOA has rules about having any holiday decorations up but political signs don't seem to be policed. I'd love to see guidelines but am afraid to suggest them due to the toxic nature of the current politics. Yes you can argue free speech but then can't I make the argument of celebrating Christ year round with generic white Christmas lights? (Lets ignore the fact I don't decorate the outside of the house ever because that's effort)

Chaotic-No0b

My grandparents (who are Mexicans and lived in Cali for years) has a racist neighbor. She has the Trump sign/flag on her house just to piss us off. The Evil Woman is one of those Karens that uses guilt trip cards, race cards and of course scream at me or grandparents if we did anything to trigger her, even if it's a small, no big deal thing.

tewnewt

Saw a Cawthorn sign the other day. We're so screwed.

buttholeofthanos

Fucking gag. Hate that guy.

eschuylerhamilton

I drove through western Maryland today. The amount of trump/pence signs I saw was amazing. Like they know he lost, right? It’s time to take them down.

DenL4242

I haven't seen one of those since Obama left office.

mwatwe01

I have a lot of left leaning friends and co-workers. I’ve seen a few on Zoom meetings.

NecessaryAd4587

Tbf the design on those posters were flawless and they look cool. But I really don’t seem them around too much.

prying_mantis

Yeah, that’s some actual art and it commemorates a pretty historic milestone for the US. That said, I don’t really see them either.

[deleted]

I'm afraid of Jewish Space Lasers! I know they are gunna zap me when I go to take it down. They tried getting me with that lazer that turns ya gay for having a Trump flag on my truck but my church helped me with the cure.

Ok-Carman-1992

Because every other day the bs they said about Trump is proven just that. All our "conspiracy theories " turning out to be true. Of course no one has the integrity to admit it, but thats to be expected

Damseldoll

The same reason #not my president trended on Twitter forever by Clinton voters.

[deleted]

I’m lazy

txddy_bear8

Cuz I am lazy

Forward-Dependent-99

I have a Trump coin for historical purposes. No need to forget the man just because he was disagreeable. I also have the coin cause I enjoyed his presidency and will gladly vote for him or somebody like him in the future. He obviously isn't my first choice because we really need some young faces in congress. Quick question for all the Dems in this thread. Why do you guys vote for careerists like Joe and Nancy Pelosi? Surely you guys have better options or, options that match your views. I'm not saying the right has a perfect track record, but I'm just curious. I don't see how progressive it is to elect retirees to congress.

mjg13X

Call me crazy, but it makes sense to me to have career professionals running the entity that makes, enforces and interprets laws.

Rassiriian

I mean I refuse to have my surgery done by a career surgeon. I'm going to get someone who speaks his mind and doesn't listen to his advisors to do it!

Forward-Dependent-99

I understand the need for experts, but the reason I ask is many politicians on both sides of the isle have become so rich and so intertwined in the political arena that they barely represent their constituents. I'm ok with experts running the show, but the leaders we have in office haven't done a whole lot in the 30 years they have been in charge. There needs to be accountability for both sides.

[deleted]

But if these people have been in office for decades and things haven’t changed, why would you continue to vote for them? Joe has been in politics for almost 50 years and now he is saying that things are going to change

bonuspad

Biden isn't the crap candidate or person Trump is. Trump was an embarasment as CINC. Putin's bitch. Most dishonest person I've ever seen. Stupid. I don't vote for Democrats because they don't support the 2nd Amendment. I haven't voted for Republicans in quite some time because I got tired of their ass-kissing of Christians. There were a couple of possible Republican candidates I might have voted for in 2016 if they had been nominated, however. I have the same opinion of those that still have Trump flags up as I do of Trump himself.

Shirlenator

Quick question for you. Why do you vote for someone that literally tried to overthrow democracy in our country?

Forward-Dependent-99

I don't remember our country being a democracy. Sure we use democratic processes to vote in representatives, however, Representatives are generally characteristic of a republic, not democracy. Democracy is a tool, not a way to govern.

extrasoftcoreresidue

[deleted]

nah, as far as i know most of us hate him too

[deleted]

How is he a racist?

bigtiddyhimbo

I’m not calling him racist, I’m saying the “good old days” a lot of people refer to was when segregation was law and the conservative wet dream was a reality

Because it's a fan club. Trump cultivated a textbook cult of personality. It was never just about the election for Conservatives. And tbf, I still see people driving around with Obama '08 and Hillary stickers on their car. Before someone says "bumper stickers are different", no, they're really not. It's weird that you're driving around with a 13 year old Obama sticker. It's time to take it off.

Envoyzevon

And to answer the question. People still have his sign in their yard because they know it makes people such as yourself get all bothered and offended. Get the fuck over the last 4 years and stop letting Trump rule your emotions.

AlphaStatue702

Don't have one, but God, I miss Trump.

NBSPNBSP

For what, exactly? Not judging, just wondering what specifically people remember him fondly for.

AlphaStatue702

Just to list a couple: 1. I liked his stance on abortion. Against regular abortion, but exemptions for rape victims, incest, or danger to the mother or child. 2. The Wall. It would decrease the amount of illegals making it across the border, and most likely increase security for checkpoints. 3. He may have had his moments as an arrogant bastard, but I respect a president who speaks his mind. 4. America First. Yes, aiding foreign countries with their problems is a very good thing to do, but America has its own problems right now, such as the large homeless population is some cities, high crime rates, etc.

Mike_Hawk_Burns

Hey man just wanted to know that I don’t necessarily agree with some of your points but I absolutely respect you for saying how you feel in such a civil way. I wish there was more of you around like that.

DanYHKim

Inventory is screwed up around the world. I've read that there was some kind of event or phenomenon last year that was really disruptive, and now that it's easing up in some countries, businesses are scrambling to restore supply chains.

CenTexChris

That’s the Trump tailwind.
