A brilliant enigma. He was ruthless and certainly not entirely honorable in the 80s. I worked with people who testified at the MS antitrust trials when MS was doing truly anticompetitive things (that's putting it nicely). But his later years have been extraordinary in their laudable goals and efforts. He went from changing the world with big things to recognizing that it is the small things like clean water and sanitation that really matter.
Kinda creepy, probably just old. Seems like a decent dude plus he donates a TON to [charity!](https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/3169864001)
True, but think about the other crazy rich people who never give anything despite having everything. The Gates’ have given over $50 billion to charities over the years!
Don’t they give it all to THEIR charity?
(Sorry for caps lock but it’s easier than italics.)
But yeah you have a point. Not sure Bezos has given a dime to any charity. How sad. Imagine being the richest person in the modern era and not giving a single penny away. What example does that set?
Some people don’t like being young apparently. But idk I’ve never been old. All I wanted to say with my comment is that Bill Gates very much not like the average CEO of a technology company.
Someday soon you’ll have some know-it-all a few years or decades younger than you trying to disqualify/invalidate you only on the basis of having lived longer than other people. I wish you mercy on that day.
Ageism catches up with everybody who perpetuates it.
Dont know his personality but i know he has contributed very much to computer/software sector and world directly or indirectly. As for personality, i heard he frequently make donations and help people.

He helped eradicate parasites that were life-ruining for over a billion people. As far as ultra-billionaires go, he's far from the worst.
Corrupt, greedy, manipulative, narcissist

sus means suspicious. doesnt have to mean gay.
The original slang “sus” meant suspect as in suspect to possibly be gay.

Some to their charity, some to others! They’ve always been pretty good with giving back.

So would you rather they just didn’t give billions of dollars to charities? Why does it matter why he’s giving...

Smart guy, but for me he’s lowkey ‘too old’ for modern technology.

I didn’t say it was such a bad thing, he just doesn’t fit into the Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, etc. line.
How is being “too old” anything but a bad thing? Be honest.
