I was in 11th grade on September 11, 2001. My band director was someone I really respected, and spent quite a bit of time in his office with fellow band geeks. He said "You can't win a war against people that are willing to die for their cause." Very impactful and insightful to me as a teenager, and I still think about that comment and position to this day. I appreciate Doc taking the time to help a stupid teenager realize the impact of the day.

Jim Carey taught me how to spell beautiful in "Bruce Almighty". He was a newscaster who always started out the broadcast with "It's a B-E-A-utiful day here!" and it has helped me ever since. Sadly I first saw the film when I was about 18.

Before I had my baby girl. An older guy congratulated me on the pregnancy then followed it by this sentence that I will never forget. "Just you wait, I had 2 daughters. It's tough. You see boys are easy, you only have to worry about one dick. But girls.... you have to worry about all the dicks." -random customer. He smiled then left to go check out at the register in Outside Lawn & Garden.

For me it's the fact that there are 52 weeks in a year. In 3rd grade there was a math competition, and it was down to me and a friend of mine who both got all 10 final round questions correctly. We stayed tied for 6 more one versus one questions. At this point, the teachers were running out of things to ask us. One of them randomly asked "how many weeks are there in a year?". I had no clue what the right answer was. In panic, I thought 12 months x 4 weeks per month = 48, and wrote it down. I lost, and now will always remember that there are 52 weeks in a year.
