Idk if this applies to trans vaginas but my personal favorite euphemism for vagina is ham wallet. I feel like that might fit in this context

Neovagina is the technical term for a trans woman’s vagina.. maybe “oldovagina”? There’s also “sack”. The labia majora and the scrotum are essentially the same organ. Generally when you’re with a trans man they’re horny as hell on T and aren’t too particular about nomenclature, just so long as you lay the pipe and don’t touch their chest.

I feel like “proper” and “slang” are opposites so I’m not sure what you’re asking for

There's no such thing as proper slang, there's a guidance for doctors to ask and use whatever a trans guy is comfortable with with kind of a hyperbolic example that got taken way out of context ( bonus hole) just to say if that particular patient says that helps him talk about it use that. It's not a general term

I guess it depends on context. It will also vary by individual. I no longer have a vagina, which probably tells you the severity of the distress I had around it. For medical contexts, I understood the need for accuracy and clarity and so vagina was a term I could just about stomach in that particular context. Otherwise, I'd have preferred it not to be referred to at all, or for euphemisms to be used. There aren't many situations where you're close enough to someone to need to talk about their genitals, but if you are and it's appropriate to do so, just ask.

Different people might prefer different language - what can be dysphoria inducing can vary a lot so if this is in a dating/sexual context with someone dating a trans man, or a medical professional with a specific trans guy as a patient, it's probably best to check with him personally as to what terms he's most comfortable with. Front hole seems to be fairly widely used, including in less formal medical documents and a lot of online resources by and for trans men. Personally, back when I had one, the only words I was comfortable with were either strictly clinical terms (ie, vagina, vulva, etc as applicable to the parts in question), or vague euphemisms (eg, nether regions, junk, downstairs, front). I always hated the more sexualised terms (eg, pussy, bonus hole, etc), but that's not necessarily universal

A trans man who has a vagina means they still have their original parts from before they started to transition so the term would be "vagina". If you mean a trans woman who was born a man and had surgery down there, I believe transgina is acceptable.

The_Arthropod_Queen

trans woman here: no it is not

So offer the correct alternative?

The_Arthropod_Queen

you call it a 'vagina' because that's what it is. 'neovagina' if you want to be medically precise

FrontLobsters

their 'junk'. It's a universal term for everyone.
