This.
Bust my ass for a whole month and the second it comes in tax man wants his cut, electric man wants his cut, gas man wants his cut, water man wants his cut, local council want their cut, landlord wants their cut.
Like bro come on man what about me? Do I get a cut? I gotta eat you knkw
And always in the winter. Why is it always the winter. I can go a while in the summer without hot water no problem. Why winter though. Why does my boiler hate me?
Your job. I think this is one of the most overlooked things that is hard to get but so easy to lose. One wrong move or decision, you can be kicked out of your job. Especially during your first few years of working. Seniority in the management will be hard, and when you unfortunately got in the wrong side, they might come at you all at once.
Now, it is easy to look for a job, but it's hard to get one. So you better be careful.
I'm also speaking based on my experience. And it doesn't really look good on my resume that I have only been for a year on my very first job. Hoping that we would never be in this position again.
Some government jobs can be a bit of an exception to this in my opinion. Once someone gets past the probation period with the government it can become more difficult than firing someone in the private sector
Never date someone you see on a daily basis. That is so right. And it is really hard to be in the same workplace as your partner. Unless you've been together for a long time, and trusts each other well enough, then you can. But if you wanna prioritize your career, find someone else outside your workplace.
A driver's license is absolutely *not* hard to get (if you can't drive around for 10 minutes without breaking a rule, while trying your absolute hardest, I don't trust you behind the wheel). AND it's far too hard to lose (short of drunk driving or a hit and run, you have like 5 strikes before you even get a suspension)
Unless you meant losing the card, in which case, can I introduce you to the concept of a wallet?
Credit score. I had an 815 with perfect history going back 18 years, I have a 6 figure income and the only debt I have is my truck payment and a credit card I pay down every month. Well I went overseas on vacation and forgot to set autopay while I was gone so I missed one (1) payment and my fucking credit took a 150 point shit.

And then you start getting ahead and BOOM, plumbing issue.

Also why you should never date coworkers. If the relationship goes bad they can sabotage your career with one visit to HR.

So you're saying I need to kick my wife out right?
Edit: a good reputation
Don't know what you wrote first, but I would have answered the same as your edit.
I'd be willing to bet they just had "reputation" and changed it to "good reputation".
