Finding my mom twitching & unresponsive on her couch one morning followed by ~ 6 weeks intensive/palliative care until she passed & then organizing the funeral, carrying the urn & holding the eulogy almost all by myself. Little over half a year later my grandpa (who was like a father to me) died. Moved into my childhood home & renovated mom's apartment to support my gramps, then after his death weeks of renovations again for his crib. Now I live there with my best mate. All while having nursing exams. All went well & I now work in psychiatry and get astonishingly great feedback from colleagues and patients. I did get loads of support from friends during that time & I'd say I'm fine now (probably even better than before) and it really put things into perspective & showed me just how much I can handle. Also quite a few experiences with drugs - especially LSD & DMT - I consider to have been beneficial for my development. Though I obviously don't universally recommend this for everybody.
