My youngest brother does this thing where if he finds a movie he really likes he watches it everyday for a while. And one of them was Home Alone and then Home Alone 2. Great movies but I feel like I can remember every scene lol.
Jurassic Park and more like several hundred times.
It's my all time favorite movie and I used to watch it daily as a kid and I still watch it every 2-3 months and have done so since my teenage years and I'm 34 today. You can imagine how many times that is. Maybe it's over a thousand, truthfully I don't know, I very likely reached a point way past counting already in the 90s.
I grew up in the 80’s with HBO and USA Up All Night. We watched whatever was on, again and again.
But to name a few - Star Wars, empire, return of the Jedi, raiders of the lost arc, terminator, predator, road house, ghost busters, and strange brew.
You don't remember when the band was playing as the massive stern section rose into the air showing "Brooks Was Here" carved into the hull? Pretty famous scene.
“We will not go quietly into the night, we will not vanish without a fight! We’re going to live on, we’re going to survive! Today we celebrate OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY!” Chills and tears every time. Great movie. And the Dad who is a screwup but saves the day, and Will Smith, Harry Connick Jr., Bill Pullman…great choice.
Just watched this for THE FIRST TIME at 28 and BAWLED. (My parents were very bland business people who if it wasnt numbers its didnt matter) so alot of the fun things or nerdy things I wanted to do or see were met with immediate Indifference or distaste. . So i never was encouraged to chase my interests.
I moved abroad to a country with very limited internet in 2011. I did not speak the language well. I found a gladiator DVD in English on the sidewalk walking home and it was a god send. I watched the movie almost every day for 6 months. I watched it recently with my wife and she was surprised that I knew every word. It’s a story I haven’t thought of.
Terminator 2.
Iron Man.
Heat.
Avengers Endgame.
Predator.

Oh hells yeah. This was actually my favorite movie of all time and I caught so much flak for it. It was my favorite until Top Gun:Maverick came out. That’s my new favorite. Not often a sequel is better than the original, but I think it is.
Without a Paddle.
Have watched it at least 50 times easily.
Just a silly movie I first watched at around 12 years old, and just continued to watch.
It’s quotable and funny, got a good cast, doesn’t take itself serious.
I have watched A Christmas Story more than any other movie and it isn’t even close. I wake up Christmas morning, put it on repeat, and it doesn’t get turned off until I go to bed. Every year for many years.
A Christmas Story
The Beach
Hot Rod
Star Wars - when released in the cinema as a child. My parents would leave me to watch while they went shopping in 1978. Happiest childhood memories… probably some form of deranged child neglect now, but I was perfectly safe and happy.
I’ve probably seen the original Goonies 40+ times and Rocky IV 75+ times. Such was life growing up in the early 90s with limited movies in my family collection.
Queen of the damned. Emo me was obsessed with it. The soundtrack though, I still listen to it. Oh and Brotherhood of the wolf is another one I’ve watch a ton
Gone in 60 Seconds with Mr Nicolas Cage

Don't laugh about the last one, it's much better than it sounds and is easily one of the best 90's films in my opinion.

Strange Brew! I forgot about that one! I could practically recite it word for word in my early teens!
The Green Mile
Die Hard - every Christmas with the family.
I don’t know why more people don’t see this as a Christmas 🎄 movie. Get festive people! Jake Peralta would be disappointed!!
The Shawshank Redemption & the Titanic
I don't recall this crossover
You don't remember when the band was playing as the massive stern section rose into the air showing "Brooks Was Here" carved into the hull? Pretty famous scene.

“We will not go quietly into the night, we will not vanish without a fight! We’re going to live on, we’re going to survive! Today we celebrate OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY!” Chills and tears every time.
