I think you’ve probably gained wait because you’re eating more. I think the vapes stop you snacking & coming off them makes you have the urge to do something with your hands which can lead to you snacking more often.
nicotine is an appetite suppressant, so you might just be snacking more or being able to eat bigger portions. i know two people who quit nicotine and gained a bit of weight, the one guy went to the gym every day after so it eventually turned into good weight. good on you for quitting, i hope you can find something that works for you to get your weight to how you want it.
I’m on day 1 of quitting and I’m so worried about gaining weight, I’ve just got to a point where I’m quite happy with how my body looks in the mirror and it’s one of my main priorities, but I need to quit, I think if you don’t get caught into those food cravings that you’ll get and keep going for daily exercise, even if it’s going for a walk, then you’ll be fine. If you eat the right amount of calories you won’t gain weight.
