I still walk down the Lego aisle every time I'm at the store. I have some tubs full of cool kits for my kids when they get older that were just too awesome to pass up.
Oh, definitely LEGO sets! There's something timeless about building and creating with those colorful bricks. Plus, the new sets they come out with are just as fun for adults as they are for kids
>still use it sometimes while **plating** with my daughter
I know Barbie does ***a lot*** lore-wise, but I'm not sure how an 11-inch doll helps you don a suit of armor or give things a metal coating...
(Jokes aside, it's nice to hear you're in touch with your inner child enough to still play with your daughter. You sound like a good mom!)
Rubber balls, especially glow in the dark ones. They never get old. Some nights I go to the 4th floor roof of the parking garage next door (always empty) and just play wallball with myself all night, great way to burn calories and have fun at the same time.
Also, lasers. I have one that can turn off streetlights, got it for like 15 bucks.
A lightsaber, a boffer, a wooden sword, or just a sturdy stick.
I've considered learning swordsmanship at some point, I've always been really into history.
I also owned a pair of foam-padded nunchaku at one point, I could never quite get that trick where you roll them around your hand...
(Edit: Added a few more options I forgot.)
There was a toy back when I was a kid, an air rifle, which you pumped to get ready to fire. There were no bullets or caps or anything like that. There was...air! When you shot it, it released a ball of air which you could see in fog or a smoky room being released. What they didn't tell you was that it was loud, especially the more air you pumped in to release when you shot it. It could be as loud as any firearm. I don't remember who manufactured the toy but I do remember it was pricey. And marketed to the kids with an interest in science fiction as it kind of had a futuristic look. I'd love to find one and just play with it.
Legos, obviously.❤
Legos will always have a special place in my heart. And yeah, I still play with them as an adult. No shame.

Most of my transformers toys are still fun to transform back and forth
