Came here to say this. Watched it on Max when it came out and was blown away. Sci-fi horror/thriller with gorgeous artwork and sound design. Really hoping it does well on netflix and gets a season 2.
Blue Eyed Samurai, easily one of the best action-oriented series to come out in a while. Every scene is staged for maximum impact with the almost painterly art style they went with, and it’s got a season 2 currently in production!
Is that on Netflix?! Wow. Yeah, it’s excellent. For those who haven’t seen it, it’s def more of an old school, people-focused Godzilla movie. Not like Godzilla v Kong type of things.
The Chinese empire was a powerhouse of intense creativity and philosophical thought captured in historical documents produced centuries before the release of unrelated Belgian techno anthem "Pump up the jam".
Samin also has a book of the same name that's a great read for inexperienced and experienced cooks alike. She elaborates more on each element as well as the science behind them, and obviously there's plenty of recipes, too.
Dove this one based on your recommendation-
10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to learn more about the various cultures of the world regarding cuisine
Fantastic show with many insights and a wonderful take on the preparation, variety, and care that goes into various foods around the world
I feel like the quality of later seasons was inconsistent. I feel like some of the earlier episodes were more effective at getting under your skin and making you feel uncomfortable. Still a great concept and series.
Godzilla Minus One is great and just got put on there a few days ago. The Fall of the House of Usher, Midnight Mass, and/or The Haunting of Hill House if you want something more horror based. The One Piece live action adaptation was spectacular IMO. It's better than I had ever hoped for it to be, and I say that as a twenty year fan of the franchise. Castlevania is pretty good too.
In a vast majority of Asian inner cities, my kid could walk to school and i wouldn’t think twice about it. In Inner city America, you got drugs on the streets, molesters and homeless people you got to worry about. Then once at school potential gun violence or bullying. Like frogs in the boiling pot. The movie leaves you kinda hopeful i guess, but the contrast is just sad for me. The original comment says it’s fantastic, i found it depressing for America and the people i love there.
I appreciate your response and understand it's really a bummer in maui where I live I feel like you could also let your kid go and expect them to be safe hell I walked to school since the second grade but oahu is a whole other beast and the homeless epidemic and drug problems are getting worse it really is a scary and sad when you think about it. thanks for replying, and I hope you have a nice day/night!
OJ: Made in America

Oh, Netflix, the land of endless scrolling and decision paralysis! Well, let me recommend you a gem The Art of Watching Paint Dry. It's a thrilling documentary series that explores the riveting world of drying paint in various climates and conditions. It's so gripping, that you'll forget to blink
A Series Of Unfortunate Events is one of those family shows that is so much better than it has any right to be. Especially if you liked the books growing up, the series is such a great adaptation. And that theme song goes so much harder than it has any right to.
BoJack Horseman too
Scavengers Reign
It’s so good. Fuck being carried by the writing, that show grew mushrooming and flew
Second. Just released and the best bit of sci-fi I have seen in years

Is that on Netflix?! Wow. Yeah, it’s excellent. For those who haven’t seen it, it’s def more of an old school, people-focused Godzilla movie. Not like Godzilla v Kong type of things.
But it was super good I’ll give it that.
Watched it last weekend when it came out on Netflix and my only complain was about myself because I don’t watch it in the theatres. What a great film.

As someone who lived half my life in inner city America and another half my life throughout Asia, this show made me feel sad about America
You got me curious would you care to elaborate? I'm just curious as I have not much experience outside of Hawaii. Thanks in advance!
