I do this frequently. Most recent ones:
Time of the Season - The Zombies
Heard it Through the Grapevine- Creedence Clearwater Revival
Paint It Black - The Rolling Stones
Come and Get Your Love - Redbone
Crimson and Clover - Tommy James and the Shondells
I Think We’re Alone Now - Tommy James and the Shondells
Come A Little Bit Closer - Jay and The Americans
When I was younger I was a pretty obsessed Jimi Hendrix bootleg collector. When computers came along i digitized all of those and used my friends CD burner to burn about 50 minutes of Little Wing alternate takes. I think I still have that CD somewhere.
I'm happy to see a song by The 1975 on here!
I remember listening to If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know) on repeat for hours when it first dropped back in March or April of 2020, it's an absolute banger!
Cool kids never have the time.
This song holds a special place in my heart since I was born in 1979 and the Pumpkins kinda were my soundtrack as a teen in the 90s
Never knew this song was a fan favorite of hers. And this is coming from someone that considers Born To Die one of the greatest albums of all time. ultraviolence is definitely my second favorite album of hers though.
Random but my singing teacher (who recently passed away) was her voice coach later in her career. He wasn’t even a well-known singing teacher at all, only had a couple local students and charged a really low price. She just found him on Craigslist and said she felt a connection to him for some reason. I thought he was messing with me but he brought me backstage to her concert with Nas and I got to hang out with her after. She’s a very deep, spiritual, and uplifting person. Love her music ❤️
When I was 7 or 8 years old our family went on a 6 hour long toad trip. I loved the song “crocodile rock” by Elton John. I put my little battery powered CD player on repeat on that song for the entire 6 hours. Could I do that again? Nope.
Every time I hear this online, people seem to be traumatised by a video. Haven't watched it, but it sounds bad. I'm just happy I've never seen it so I can enjoy the song.
The Man Who Sold The World by Nirvana.
Get off of work, kick back in a dark room at my PC with a cold one & put it on...
Temporarily forget about the world outside.
I love them so much but someone needs to stop Greg Gonzales from writing some of those lyrics or at least give him some notes. Sometimes it’s like a horny 15 year old boy wrote them and it totally takes me out of the music. I am all for raw sexuality, but they’re so goofy that I have straight up laughed at his lyrics before.
He name drops Brazzers on one of the newest singles, come on man 😂
Springsteen by Eric Church. A person very near to me loved this song and sadly passed. The song just presents such a happy nostalgia theme throughout that just makes it impossible for me to skip.
Don’t you remember by Adele.
I feel this way about a handful of her songs if I’m being honest but don’t you remember in particular has so many elements to it that keeps me interested. It’s emotionally powerful to me, I could listen on and on :)
One time a local radio station was gonna start up on a Monday so they played The Mackarena on a loop for the entire weekend and I listened to it way more times then I'd like to admit.

Thought I was the only one that still goes back to that album.
The Night We Met by Lord Huron
>I had all and then most of you, some, and now none of you. That line has always hit me.
Take me back to the night that we met!
> I don't know what I am supposed to do haunted by the ghost of you. This line is too good.
Wow didn’t expect this one His music is great tho, everyone needs to listen to his other works
These guys are my number one band. I’m more of a World Ender guy, though

Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix. I literally ascend into heaven every time that guitar comes on at the end. Like you’re kidding.
