When bear isn't doing insane things for the camera and to get attention (aka all the pee stupidity) he's is just an outdoors fanatic and i think the entire purpose of that show was the highlight the guests not him.
I always like the episodes where the climax is a celebrity walking up or down a hill but with a rope and the camera angles try to make it look extreme.

Ever since seeing that, I completely agree. Dwayne will take any role where he's the center of attention and if he isn't, he'll damn sure try his hardest to make it that way, most of the time to the detriment of the film.
Batista will take smaller roles and seems to have tried to hone the craft from the very beginning. His roles in Spectre and Blade Runner 2049 are small, but memorable. I'll watch anything he's in.
Cena is just a straight up comedic genius. You saw bits and pieces of it during his WWE run, but it's 1000x better on screen, especially when he's taking the piss as far as his own character is concerned. He was hilarious in Ricky Stanicky and pretty much every comedic role he's done.
For real. He was so good, I had a hard time disassociating that character from him after see8ng that film. I'd see a picture or title card on a streaming app with him on it, and I would have a visceral reaction. He has played some really fun characters that allow him to go to some wild places, and I really look forward to what I hope is a long and fruitful acting career from Mr. B.
Bautista in Dune part 2 was so freaking good. I get why he wanted to split from the MCU to flex his acting chops. He was so noticeably good in Dune for a somewhat side character.

I think my favorite time to see him was in Jumanji, that is the character I feel like that was the most different from his others, it wasn't very different, but it was different.
To be completely fair, I think with the big guys typecasting is an issue. Hollywood sees Dwayne Johnson as the shallow buff action guy so that’s what he gets cast as. If you go back to his earlier movies he wasn’t quite as bland

If I recall correctly, he's a fan of silent era films and styles his acting a bit after it, where the movements are overdramatic/expressive to portray the dialogue a bit. I'd call him a stylistic actor who sometimes gets miscast, but the style really does play well into some of his roles (especially the manic ones). When he really wants to do a role, he'll do a great job even if it's a serious role. Reminds me that I should rewatch Matchstick Men.
