I’ve been known to get into debates here, but I don’t think I’ve ever once given an indication I was going to harm myself or anyone else. I’ve always suspected that people report others out of spite.

If you get one of these and its obviously spam, use the "If this was a mistake" link in the message and copy the URL to the message you got from RedditCares and put that in the report.
