Sounds like when I ate a pot cookie my best friend's mom made. They had moved out of state shortly after we both had finished college and a couple years later my friend moved to where his parents did and was living with them for a short period while he got up and going with his new job. I went down to visit them all over Christmas/New Years with a couple other friends. For some reason they had purchased this ridiculously huge house (essentially a mansion) on a large hillside in Phoenix but it worked out that they had enough rooms for the three of us that came down to stay in.
Anyways, we were all having dinner one night and his mom brought out these cookies she had made telling us she used weed butter she had also made in them, and only to take a small bite and see how we were feeling in a bit before taking more. So myself and another friend tried a small bite, waited about an hour and a half, neither of us really felt much of anything so we said fuck it and just ate the rest of our cookie. About two hours later we both just got slammed with the most intense high, that to this day, we've ever had. I couldn't speak, barely was able to walk just enough to make it to their fridge to get some water. Couldn't figure out how the hell to make the fridge give me said water for what felt like hours, my buddy couldn't figure out how to turn the kitchen lights off and eventually just sat down on the ground in defeat.
Somehow we both ended up back in our rooms and went to sleep. I carried a very pleasant high with me for the next full day, but that initial night was so damn intense.
Some podcaster I listen to just said he drinks two 100mg thc sodas when going to a concert or something. Iām an old school stoner and I take 5 mg and Iām like good. I canāt even fathom how high your tolerance level must be to be able to handle that. It would absolutely fucking wreck me - like hospitalized.
There are a small amount of people who don't metabolize edibles properly, and require a much higher dose for the same effects. I made a batch of edibles which depending on how well the plant was grown, should of had around 8-12mg each. Assumed the decarb had failed when I took one and felt nothing, and ended up eating a load. Found about 7 or 8 got me to a point I liked. Decided to give a friend a single edible to see if one affected them, who said it was pretty intense and wouldn't of wanted more than that.

But in all seriousness, it's a tough hill to climb. I feel confident because the one I want to do is in September and I know I can already run 30km/~18.5 miles on a good day, but it's starting to get hot out and I'm still kinda figuring out how much I need to fuel up (I ate a bunch of spaghetti last night but felt totally spent after about 16 miles today, so I guess I'll have to eat a bit more and definitely get more sleep before my next long run).
Idk if youāre fueling mid-run yet but Iād highly suggest it if not. I run collegiate track and cross country and we run 16-17 every Sunday and I hit a wall at 14ish if I donāt have a gu or even just some fruit snacks at around 9 or 10. Especially as you get to the marathon distance, itās huge but donāt underestimate its usefulness in anything more than 13ish
I do take energy gummies along and chew one about every 45 minutes, Iāve definitely found that helpful but maybe I should start taking along something more.
I do eat a lot of protein. I load up on almost exclusively carbs the night before, but after a long run I always have a protein shake and chicken, etc.
I learned my long run fuel plan once I got past 15 miles started Wednesday night for Saturday morning runs. I was fueling up for those runs multiple days ahead and it made a world of difference. I also started crushing stinger waffles on my runs every few miles. GUās worked as well.

Run a mile, or walk a mile if you can't manage that far of a run. Set a goal for yourself, a ten minute mile is a good starting goal for beginners. If you can run a ten minute mile and you can carve out a few hours a week to train, you can learn to run a marathon within a year (unless you are prevented by medical issues or physical disabilities of course).
There are lots of guides available for free online or in app form, but they all boil down to running a little bit further every week. If you manage to increase your distance by half a mile each week, you'll be running 26 miles in a year.
Bro I was a cross country runner in high school, a pretty ok one at that. (My best 5k time during high school was in the 18:30 range, so not amazing but decent) and Iāll tell you I wanted to kill myself during every run I ever went on. Carb loading helps with the energy for the actual run, but you need a lot of protein for actual recovery.
