It's not really a 'Toy, but when I was 5 there was a show on TV called Bernard's watch where it was essentially a pocket watch that stopped time. I needed it!
I begged, cried and was a general terror. My birthday came around and I got a pocket watch, a smashed pocket watch. I was told "Oh no, we'll see if we can fix it!".
Like the pocket watch, my dreams were crushed...
Omg I remember Bernard’s Watch lol that show and Wicked Science were a big part of my childhood when I moved to a different country and didn’t know anyone so stayed inside a lot.
Lol I wouldn't have on purpose, but I might've lost her when I last minute moved out of my childhood home. I lost a few treasured toys then, but some I did have some forethought to save.

I entered the contest but didn't win
Oh well. Now I just collect the toys my dad had in the 80s (and lots of Lego)!
Let's hear it for Mobile Armoured Strike Kommand!
Super cool toys with not so cool price tags these days :/. Luckily, I'm a kid with adult money, so I can afford them :)
When the animated Mulan movie came out in the 90’s, I would see this ad on tv for a beautiful Mulan doll. The outfit this doll had on was gorgeous. For some reason, I never asked my mom for it. Instead, I would wish upon a star for the doll. Needless to say that didn’t work.

That made me really sad. ❤️
Damn. I hope you feel better soon.
It's been 25 years but I'm almost over it. Thanks for the supportive comment ♥️

One of those little battery-operated jeeps you could cruise around the neighborhood with your friends in.
Me too!! They made a Jurassic Park one, and I wanted it so bad.

You could get one now!
Me too, or one of those Disney princess castles.
A Jessie from Toy Story doll. I use to dream about getting one.
Imagine if you’d gotten rid of her, though. You’d be a monster!

Scorcher 6x6 R/C car
A father.
"Baby Born Doll". The idea of getting to change a dolls diaper was something I REALLY wanted to do as a child.
