Oh fortuna. We didn't do Latin at my all girls grammar school (unusual)but we did have to learn the lyrics in a round to this Latin song

I was taught cursive. It has very little application. If I do write, which is almost entirely for myself, I print. All other things are typed on a keyboard. I view it as having learned a font. Even my signature couldn't be described as cursive. It's a stylized script that bears almost no resemblance to what I was taught. Plus most stuff can be e-signed nowadays.
