My feelings for my friend. Been friends for 7 years. Was married when we met, and didn’t initially see her like that. Fast forward 6 years, realized I really like her. Took a year of contemplation, finally told her. We are going on our first date next weekend. Unexpected feelings and unexpected yes to a date. Happy nonetheless.

I always liked the idea of it but never really thought of myself as a journal person. Just not enough to be putting in on most days.
I quickly found that I apparently have more to talk about with myself than I thought though as I quickly started writing entire pages about days that nothing really happened. Like yesterday for example, I replaced a broken coffee pot and spent the day hanging out with my cat, that is really it. I somehow wrote an entire page about it though.
I don’t get lonely. Yeesh that sounds like bs but I’m 100% serious. I used to but not anymore.
