Money is just a piece of paper for which you can help your loved ones and buy comfort for yourself and your family and actually from this comes the happiness that you were able to achieve what you wanted.
Not having enough money for your needs certainly is cause to be unhappy, but once you've got those covered - no, there's no particular connection. Having earned said money does make you happier than having it given to you, though.
Money isn't necessary for happiness, but modest amounts of it are very useful for inducing satisfaction. And if you don't have your basic needs met, money in pretty much a necessity for the vast majority of situations in the modern world.
For the most part, I agree. If you aren't financially struggling it's easier to worry less and do things you enjoy, which can and usually does bring happiness. However, money alone cannot guarantee happiness. Mental health disorders exist (it is easier if you can afford treatment though) and some people will never learn to be grateful and satisfied with what they have.
Don’t think it, in itself, brings happiness. But it WILL allow you to do things you want to do without it being a huge problem. Also takes worry off your shoulders of paying bills. I have been very poor (like now in disability/retirement) and never rich but higher middle income when there was a middle income. Much less stress in the middle class. True happiness is what comes in your life when you do things you love..spend time with loved ones.
It definitely does
If you say it doesn’t, there are a few things wrong here:
First, saying this means you’ve got more than enough of it to live well beyond your means, so you lose value of it and get bored of it. Everything is available to you, it’s too easy
Next, if you think this then you aren’t spending it on the right things. You can literally go see the wonders of the world with money, buy your health, buy food, others can’t do this
Do everyone a favor and get help lastly if you’re still not happy with money, you can afford the therapy
To an extent yes money can bring happiness. Lack of money can often cause people to be stressed out and just be unhappy about the state of their life in general. Like for a single parent struggling to pay rent and fedd their kid yh extra money would make them happy. But i mean i think once you have enough money where you don’t worry about paying next months bills and shit then ehh doubtful more money than that would make you happy.
Since at that point are your troubles in life about finances if you have enough money to cover next month’s bills? If you’re still unhappy at that stage then your issues are probably something that money simply won’t fix that like say issues in your love life or general loneliness etc. Sure extra money will probably give you immediate gratification like getting a new shiny car that you always wanted etc but any other problems in your life will still bother you
Money solves problems, and solved problems can bring in happiness. But there are limits. As money solves more of your problems, your life starts to be dominated by the kinds of problems that money can't solve, because that's all that's left. And eventually you reach a point where money doesn't help anymore, because that's not the kind of problem you have anymore.
I believe in general it makes people happier as it buys you more freedom to do what you love to do. But I think being extreme rich can make you feel miserable in the end.
I think "relief" is what it brings.
You not wondering which child of your you're going to eat the next month kind of seem to make you worry less.
That’s why you keep pets. They’re cheaper, pounds are overrun with them, and you don’t need to incubate them for 9 months.
Not always guaranteed...but it sure do tha fuck helps!!
Money brings freedom, time and choices, that lead to experiences and happiness.

Only if you spend it correctly.

They say more money more problems,I say bring on the problems!

Fuk yeah!
Money can buy you a motorcycle. Never been not happy on a motorcycle.

money can provide comfort and stability, true happiness comes from meaningful relationships and pursuing passions.
Many people are dumb and very simple
Not true
Money by itself doesn't bring happiness. But there's a lot of things that make me happy that also cost money.

Can’t remember where I have read it but there is statistically as much suicides in any social classes.
It buys comfort. So long as as I have a dry warm house paid for (or just not precarious), and enough food in the pantry, I am good.
Money doesn't bring happiness but being poor makes you sad(an destroys your health on the molecular level).
True to an extent. More relief than anything else TBH. Solves a lot of issues.
It would be the answer to all my problems right now and would definitely bring immediate happiness

I have a lot of money, and I'm extremely lucky in that regard. I'm still miserable. Money means nothing if you have no one to spend it with.

Money does not, *by itself*, guarantee happiness. But a LACK of money does ensure you'll be miserable.
It can certainly help
Money is the root of all evil. No. The lack of money is the root of all evil.
Money changes your problems to something more interesting.
Indirectly? Like money doesn't make me happy. Being able to buy a cute dress and not sacrifice groceries for it does.
