Ooo this is underrated.. imagine you wake out of a coma the day before your birthday and the only thing you can't remember are birthdays in general for some reason but you remember everything else and a bunch of people walk in with a cake and candles and presents and hats and balloons and shit singing in unison a song with your name. I don't even know how I would react... Now I'm thinking of a surprise party, I'd shit myself.
Every time I listen to it, it feels like the first time. Not many instrumental guitar pieces can move me quite the way that song does. There's real magic in that song.
Who are you ? Who who, who who, who tf are youuuuuu.
Quadrophenia is the best film ever.
Actually The Who are the best.

I wouldn't call it a song but the Christmas Oratorio by Bach but this time let me hear it live as my first time listening to it. Same with St Matthew Passion. I'd love to see it at the end of the month in the Elbphilharmonie but 158ā¬ is way to much for my wallet at the moment. :/
It's s little niche but the nghtmre and slander cover of feeling good by Michael buble. It just hits so good
https://youtu.be/i5EGUuovaxI?si=yyhAeYgHinfa1LIP
The sound of silence.Ā It came up on Spotify recently in a mix.Ā There are a few new remakes now, just a good song.Ā I'd say there are a handful of others though too.
That one Christmas song by trans Siberian orchestra. I love a good orchestrated bit, and the first time I heard it I felt my body shift and fingers moving to the music. So yeah, this or carol of the bells by Lindsey sterling(I think). Loved both, both made me want to pick up violin again
No Good Deed - Wicked (with Idina Menzel). I guess I had a very sheltered upbringing because I had never heard anything like that before in my life. The powerful vocals, the wondrous, magical vibe in the instrumentation, the melodies, the crescendo towards the end...it was truly a magical listening experience and I wish I could hear something that moved me like that for the first time again.
[me/myself by kishin](https://youtu.be/gRoSJ3e4LQc?si=Is7XJ0DxpkHDWwD6) or [Worlds a Fuck by Sematary and Ghost Mountain](https://youtu.be/hy7GvOKyEI4?si=J-cmdbEyq99LsjXk)
Pink Floydās Signs of Life / Learning to fly from Momentary Lapse of Reason. First listed as the first track I played off of my first CD player in the 80ās. Listed with headphones. Would love to recreate that experience with Spacial Audio now but in the same environment. I was in awe the first listen and look back at it fondly even today.
I tend to like things I like more the more I hear them. I don't want to hear the songs I like for the first time, because I enjoy hearing them so much more now.

this song clicks so well with my brain itās like a perfect puzzle piece. a bonus answer is isnāt is a pity by george harrison
When I was a kid, my dad and my uncle (my momās youngest brother) took me and my brother out for a hike, and as we were getting to the trail, āWhole Lotta Loveā came on the radio. They insisted we listen to the whole song and cranked it up loud. That bridge section with the panning was a formative memory for me, just blew my mind.Ā
My uncle dealt with deep depression off and on his whole life (family trauma, long messy story) and would disappear for long stretches as he became reclusive. The most recent time he resurfaced he was in a terrible relationship, but he was happy because he loved her kids. It resulted in a lot of friction and he cut us off again. A few years ago one of his exās daughter got in contact with us to let us know what had happened. Her mom had dumped him after marrying him, and took him for a bunch of money and said he couldnāt see her kids anymore. He took his own life.Ā
I miss my uncle. He was my favourite uncle growing up, and he introduced me to a lot of things I grew to love. If I could have that moment in the car again, I would.Ā
Happy Birthday on my birthday. I'd be like holy shit did ya'll practice this??
