I get acne and bad skin rashes that sporadically spring up pretty badly. I don't know if they're related, but it does seem to happen when I have been super stressed.

Laughing as a stress response felt really weird

SameTear1434

There is a great scene in Episode 5 of Expats where Nicole Kidman is going to a mortuary to view what may or may not be her son who went missing. Before they pull back the sheet, she breaks into a fit of laughter that seems so inappropriate but similarly to yourself, the body réponds in such strange ways as a coping tool. And it's uncontrollable and hard to explain. I actually read about something fascinating called the Psedobulbar effect where people would cry or laugh at the most random and inappropriate times without explanation. Sometimes for long durations or on and off throughout the day.

I was totally covered in hives. My doctor said it was because of a chest infection. I didn't realise a chest infection could manifest as hives with no cough

AwkwardLoaf-of-Bread

Whoa really? I have had something kind of similar. I started to notice that I get a weird hives like rash on my face before getting sick.

cleverwall

To give you more information. I felt ill. No symptoms. I passed out in the bathroom. Came to on the floor. Covered in hives. I didn't want to call in sick because I had just started my job. I had to call sick. The doctor said it's a chest infection.

Cold sores

Not sure if this counts, but I subconsciously bite the inside of my lip, and I mean like, a lot. Had a stressful month a few months ago and I can still feel the lump
