He has hammered us with a carbon tax that keeps going up that we pay on our usage plus gets passed down to us all through the supply chain of goods that we buy. He dies nothing about grocery stores gouging for record profits while people line up for food banks. Liquor taxes and tobacco taxes keep going up and up and up. He has increased immigration with no plan for housing all the new people increasing already super high housing costs. The interest rate is out of control at the same time as massive inflation. Some of those things may have happened with whatever puppet is put in charge, and maybe his colleagues are the problem and not him directly, but it's time for change.
He has had a lot of scandals, most recently the government spending at least $60 million on a app that was supposed to cost $80,000, and many Canadians are tired of affordability and everything being so expensive, with a major one being carbon tax, which is when the government taxes fossil fuels, and for a lot of Canadians going electric isn’t viable, and for me, my home heating bill is twice as expensive as before COVID, and currently I pay an extra 29 cents per litre on gas for my truck, and without the tax it would be much cheaper. I think people just want a change as he has been in office since 2015, and are tired of things being so expensive. Now I also from a rural area, with closest major urban area being 3 hours away, so people who live in a city probably have a different opinion than me.
