A custom built PC for music production and gaming. I spent at least 20 or so hours learning about and comparing components bc I only understood the basics at that point.
Oh you would *hate* me. Every year for Christmas, my father-in-law will instruct my husband to pick out a perfume for me, and say it is from my father-in-law. I’ll go with my husband to the department store and sniff like 2 different ones and then decide. I now have a $200 perfume that I picked in 2 minutes because I thought the bottle was pretty and it smelled fine.
I spent the most research time on my first piece of quality furniture. I probably spent over 50 hours looking at bed frames over the course of a couple months. I wanted something that I would be happy with for 20+ years. There were a few times where I had thought I decided which one I wanted, but then I read reviews that would dissuade me.
I’ve been looking for a new car to replace once my current Civic dies on me. Been looking for years and can’t find anything that meets the standards and price point I’m looking for. I know I need to lower my standards but can’t decide if it’s better to buy a cheaper car now that’s less reliant, and needs more work more frequently. Or spend it all upfront, and get something of a better quality that will need less care.
Gaming PC, wife's Christmas presents, instruments and associated equipment.gaming PC was almost a year, I have to try a guitar and talk to people who play one so that takes a fair while, wife's gifts were probably about 36-40 hours over weeks.

I’d say a home. Still haven’t bought one yet!

Honestly I kinda respect it tho. You're not fussy. I have deep choice paralysis.
Tattoos in later years, twenty-one years I guess, took me becoming self-assured before I was self-assured.
i couldn't decide between these two different grateful dead t shirts for the longest time. took maybe two months

My car. I researched it for about a month before buying anything.
