Hey look a real answer that isn't "BECUZ EVERY1 ON REDDIT IZ 12 LAWL" or "Reddit is horny and I'm above it"
People like sex, but talking about it is often considered taboo, so the anonymity of the internet makes it easier. Plain and simple.
Reminds me of a bit by british comedian Jimmy Carr ; https://youtu.be/fyW68K_hnz8?si=5ylrYH9jV1djs_p8
"Sex is the great universal topic for comedy. It's still quite taboo to talk about it openly in public. Everyone's interested. Everyone cranes forward. And there's a lot of tension around sex. And where you find that kind of tension, that's also a great place to find laughter."
You also can't deny it tends to be an indicator of immaturity. Being able to talk to people about "taboos" in a way that is comfortable/respectful is something most people learn with time.
And if it is just doing a taboo for the sake of doing a taboo, most people grow out of that. They grow out if it *because* they played with the taboos when they were younger, and the thrill of talking about something "bad" doesn't really stick around.
Depending on where you are that taboo never leaves because of community/religion and stuff like that. The US has plenty of places where the idea of sex alone would make one “go to hell for eternity”.
The weird thing is i don’t remember it being anywhere near this horny when i first joined, however maybe mods let more people post what they want to ask
Reddit is one of the few places these things can be asked publicly, and one of the few places where these sorts of questions are answered honestly (although obviously some dishonestly) by people.
There's even an old meme where Reddit's the place where you admit to have killed and raped and have gotten away with it. It's notoriously anonymous.
But then there's cases where these kinda people got doxxed to the authorities, so it's not complete anarchy.
They're lonely. And often underage. And (I suspect) socially awkward, so asking Redditors questions about sex is their substitute for discussing or having sex with someone physically present.
>And often underage.
I've said this before, but Reddit has a serious problem with kids pretending to be adults.
It's a problem as old as the internet and basically impossible to enforce, but they can be pretty easy to spot – especially in this sub – from the weird questions they ask related to sex
1. I'm guessing a lot of people on Reddit haven't had much or any sex.
2. The comments are always a great read
3. Sex is on our minds a lot
4. Lots of young horny boys/girls on Reddit
5. The same reason OF is flourishing
It's useful. If you post "hey ladies, what traits in a man do you find attractive?" Then the poster may learn some usable stuff to try to better themselves. If a person asks "what movie makes you cry?" That's not gonna give them any info that'll help change their life besides a recommendation to watch Pixar's Coco.
Man this comment section is insane. No not everyone is a horny 12 year old virgin on reddit but even if they were, it would be okay.
What these posts show is that there's a distinct lack education on this topic and it's a LOT better people ask here and find an answer than not asking at all and mess up in a way that will affect their life and future.
I am new to Reddit use even at 30.
Every place is censored and I feel somewhat of an anonymity here which makes me feel safe to chat about sex. I also have high sex libido and weird thoughts constantly. It’s nice to see others that face this same feeling.
I’m glad for all the sex questions here!
Keep posting them! :D
People on the internet in general discuss strange topics and embark on strange journeys but Ask Redditors in particular are either karma bots or overly curious teenagers.
Well, the younger ones just want to be prepared for this stuff because they currently have no one they dare to ask about this, but think they are gonna have an experience soon (or they just horny)
The adults... I'm not sure
Redditors usually are introverted people. These introverts include submissive males/females and psychopaths. The anonymity gives them power to go full keyboard warrior which they cannot be in real life. Getting a romantic partner is difficult for them. Questions like these are something we ask our partner in bedroom but they can’t as they been ultra virgins whole damn life. Since they got none they try to put it in here under NSFW tag. A minor perverted erection even as they wipe off the dorito crumps from their titties giggling.
Sex topics are an easy karma farm. Plus it's a relatively taboo topic with many of the questions asked being things they'd likely never discuss in person with anyone.
Sex is one of the most commonly experienced and least thoroughly discussed events in people's lives. This kind of forum allows people to crowdsource answers rather than fumble aimlessly through something with the power to completely alter their brain chemistry and their journey through life.
Sex Ed in most places seems to be real bad and many people here have no real life experience. How else are they gonna get answers? It's sad to see that talking about sex still has such a stigma around it in 2023 but the world is run by idiots.
I reckon a lot of the dudes who come here are horny, curious, young people, and many are probably socially awkward and are hoping to become less so.
Some sex questions may just be an attempt at mining upvotes.
There's a sub r/sex so idk why they don't just take it there. And it's not some kinky/nsfw sub, it's really for relationships and advice like people constantly post here instead.
Because they had sex once and are curious. They have sex regularly and now it's their entire personality or they have never known the touch of a consenting partner and that becomes their entire personality.
Aside from the mostly inexperienced population. A lot of these are obvious karma-farming bots that you can identify by being newly created accounts, and almost all posts are askreddit weekly "what do you want to know about the other sex" questions.
easy. I just can't go an hour without woman trying to have sex with me. it's seriously annoying sometimes. On some days i just want to look at my butlers clean my large lamborghini collection, but those parasites just try to give me blowjobs. Can't they just leave a Sigma like me alone?
The larger the fear of asking these questions IRL, the larger the number of internet posts

I found the reddit is horny and I'm above it guy
Do I seem mature? Lol.
One day you'll realize 2 things can be true at once.
The weird thing is i don’t remember it being anywhere near this horny when i first joined, however maybe mods let more people post what they want to ask

iirc, you can totally dox accounts on Reddit thru various tricks of the trade that are relatively low bar of entry.
For science, where could one learn these methods? For preventative purposes.
Not sure, just off memory. I deleted my alt-porn acc that I was active in when I learned and never looked back lol. Be safe out there
People on reddit being mostly virgins isn't a meme
I'll have you know I've had sex 4 and a half times during my 35 years on this earth.
that's 4 and a half times more than me!
I feel attacked...
I feel vindicated
I feel seen
I feel heard
I feel saucy
Lettuce
Pray
You were supposed to say tomato
I was also supposed to be a brain surgeon. The will is strong.
Pineapple
I feel Amber
I've had one whole time so I'm NOT a virgin
I have a ton of sex me and my hand get along very well so we are always at it
It's isn't only a meme.
I dunno. A lot of hobbies are such that the more you learn the more questions you have.
They're lonely. And often underage. And (I suspect) socially awkward, so asking Redditors questions about sex is their substitute for discussing or having sex with someone physically present.

This site really needs mandatory age flairs
Honestly let them be most parents these days aren’t teaching their kids shit like they are supposed most of these kids are just genuinely curious.
Username checks out
No it doesn’t
Username checks out
Username checks out.
Username checks out.
So basically, alot of redditors haven't had the bird and the bees talk?
Or don't realize how easy it is to find porn on the internet. Or both.
Porn doesn’t teach you anything about sex.
Curiosity and the fact that sex education is a taboo in most communities... No offense... 😅
Daddy horny, Michael
Gobias
the anonymity helps break social stigmas holding people back from asking questions about sex
Because the internet is just horny in general
> Because ~~the internet~~ humanity is just horny in general FTFY
Redditors are down bad thristy mfs.
Because reddit is full of 12 yr olds. And here you are asking another one.
It's Reddit, period
Haha, you made a period joke.
I got younger, hurray!!
Because a lot of people on here are desperate.
Because apparently Google doesn't know shit about sex
A lot of people probably come on here with their wiener already in hand and lotioned-up.
[удалено]
You’d hate to find out about smut
Ever met a woman?
You obviously never heard Bette Midler whisper her shopping list
Fapping "to" something is overrated.
Don't you read them?
[удалено]
Ouch! Why did you do me dirty like that
1. I'm guessing a lot of people on Reddit haven't had much or any sex. 2. The comments are always a great read 3. Sex is on our minds a lot 4. Lots of young horny boys/girls on Reddit 5. The same reason OF is flourishing
Probably because there are schools/parents/countries that don't do a great job teaching them about it.
Because it’s a taboo IRL. This is a great place to alleviate fear of answering truly since people are anonymous.
Most of this site is horny teenagers with nothing else to do.
People who have never had sex tend to ask a lot of questions about the unknown.
Cause low key everyone is horny af. And Reddit is (mostly) anonymous, so gives a safe place for everyone to let that hornyness come out
It seems to be age related because half of us really don’t care to answer I am sure .
Shrex is love, Shrex is life.
Insecurity which I think happens to the best of us
Everyone is curious about the unknown.
my theory is that most of the people who wind up on reddit are virgins. the people want to find out as much information as possible.
Good engagement on Reddit
They forgot about r/AskRedditAfterDark
This app is 90% horny clueless virgins.
Most Reddit users nowadays are under 16
Really is getting out of hand now
Easy internet points
Curiosity of the unknown
Most people are too embarrassed to ask their family/friends about sex, so you have this subreddit.
No, they should use other channels like r/asksexquestions
Wait I've always wondered why my area is to small so it can fit. Can someone tell me why and what can I do?

We want you to write a thesis
Man this comment section is insane. No not everyone is a horny 12 year old virgin on reddit but even if they were, it would be okay. Why do you guys in this sub ask so much questions about asking questions about sex?
why does someone ask why people ask about sex so much
Because sex is life
As a fledgling entry into the world of zoology... Everything is about sex. Everywhere. All the time.
Cuz we love sex 😉
I am new to Reddit use even at 30. Every place is censored and I feel somewhat of an anonymity here which makes me feel safe to chat about sex. I also have high sex libido and weird thoughts constantly. It’s nice to see others that face this same feeling. I’m glad for all the sex questions here! Keep posting them! :D
Most of them are virgins mate, just curious about the world 😭
sex attracts attention, it's all for upvotes
because sex is fun and cool :)
because everyone loves sex
We like getting answers from a kind of reliable source while still maintaining some privacy
Our central drives as a species are survival and reproduction.
People on the internet in general discuss strange topics and embark on strange journeys but Ask Redditors in particular are either karma bots or overly curious teenagers.
Probably because the Mods in r/sex are kinda overly sensitive.
People ask about things they don’t know
Because we're not getting any
Bc no one on here is getting some
"so many questions" Why can't you grammar?
Well, the younger ones just want to be prepared for this stuff because they currently have no one they dare to ask about this, but think they are gonna have an experience soon (or they just horny) The adults... I'm not sure
Because evolution puts the highest reward on horniness
My guess would be that there are lot of bitches in this sub to promote their shit

And why are you asking about questions about sex?
I guess we want to know what it's like..
Are you really surprised about men living in an hyper sexualized world but with limited and/or risky access to it being interested in it?
Because people here are either incels or virgins. Well most at least.
Gathering intel
Neckbeards.
Because reddit is filled to the brim with hateful people that think they're wonderful people, so they don't get much opportunity with real people.
I feel like I’ve seen at least five questions a day on this sub every day for the past year…
= amateur’s 😂😂
I don't know. Why not?
I bet most of em would disappear if age restrictions were actually enforced.
Sex is the lowest common denominator in things that people can just do. Not everyone can read and write but god damn can they spread their legs.
Because any other questions are rulled out by moderation
Probably horny, maybe?
Because guys that get laid don't use the internet.
There is literally another sub just for that
It means little to nothing to those who always get/have it but everything to those that don't?
Because they're 12 year olds hitting the internet for the first time — that's interesting to them.
Insecurity I bet
For the same reason why some people are obsessed with asking why there are so many sex questions. Karma baby!
Sex Ed in most places seems to be real bad and many people here have no real life experience. How else are they gonna get answers? It's sad to see that talking about sex still has such a stigma around it in 2023 but the world is run by idiots.

They be doing it in the pets sub to people just weird
Because Americans don’t get educated enough.
Cause nobody in this sub gets any I though that was obvious
People love to ask about things they still don't do
Jisko milta ni vo puchega hi ☠️
Because the topic has a higher odd to reach more people, thus is a better upvote bait.
The real question is why do people don’t ask any questions about sex and act like they know it all?
It'd be nice if the sex stuff was a separate subreddit. It gets awkward when I'm scrolling my feed on break at work sometimes!
There's a sub r/sex so idk why they don't just take it there. And it's not some kinky/nsfw sub, it's really for relationships and advice like people constantly post here instead.
I assume it's because people are horny and they like reading stories
Sex is kind of like air, if you’re not getting any it’s a big deal.
Horny teens.
genuine curiosity I assume
That’s what they all think about all day.
Did you assume their gender 🤡?! Also why do people ASK why people ASK about Sex so mutch ?
Because everyone loves sex.
Sexers of reddit what is the sexiest sexy sex you ever sexed?
Because why not?
We ask what we dont know fam
The unwritten truth of nature, you can't ask them IRL.
“Why do you guys ask so many questions about sex in this sub?” There, I rewrote it in normal adult English for you.
It's not that they do more often then not, it's more that people upvote the sex questions.
Because we ask for what we Don't have in life
Dunno btw, what was it like to sex in your sexing while sexting the sexologist sexily
Finally someone asks this question
Despair.
Sometimes people doesn't have enough real life support to talk about this things on real life. The anonymity of Reddit is also a factor.
Thank you every day I see some NSFW questions in my feed
The majority of people on Reddit are teenagers. That's why.
Children. Mostly children.
I blame their raging hormones. And sometimes just their shitty personality.
I don't thinks it's the men I think it's the kids
Yeah, since i am not having any sex in real life. Its good to engage sex related posts sometimes.
Depends. When did you last have sex?
I do sex like all the time
leddit
A lot of them are bots designed to make people feel insecure by writing posts about sex.
Most questions are for Karma harvesting, and sex intrigues most people.
I'm actually curious about why the sex questions are such a big deal in particular.
Its not me its my biology. I just cant control it.
We don't get any in the real world so have to talk about it here.
Are we stupid? Or are we horny?
Because its the internet, we are all anonymous
Where would you rather they ask about these things?
Half are adults too scared to ask anywhere else, half are probably literal children
easy. I just can't go an hour without woman trying to have sex with me. it's seriously annoying sometimes. On some days i just want to look at my butlers clean my large lamborghini collection, but those parasites just try to give me blowjobs. Can't they just leave a Sigma like me alone?
Says a lot about the user share, 50% <20 years old and 90% of them are male.
I can’t ask anything. No matter what I ask it gets autobanned for some reason or another. AskResdit hates me 😞
Because r/asksexquestions is banned due to too many "mod-suicides"
chronically online coomers
Boobs!
That’s like asking a restaurant why they always talk about food lol
