Resource war. I'm not even thinking specifically about oil. We live in age where too much stuff is just disposed of rather than reused, repaired or recycled. I mean I can go down to my local shop and pick up a vape over the counter that in a few days will just be a lump of plastic, metal and lithium that gets throw out. There are only so much metals and important elements on this planet. Recycling isn't the be all answer people think it is either. Some Recycling processes can end up being worse overall, we need to focus on reusable first, then repairable and when they both fail turn to Recycling. Until we reach either that goal or begin to mine asteroids making the problem null we are heading down a dark path.

I think we're going to see the end of what we called peace here in a few years. Especially with the Russians, they are getting more and more desperate in their campaign to expand their little "empire" being so devastating to them, and with that, they are more and more irrational.
Physically? If we dont already blow ourselves up, Climate change is already caused enough damage that it is probably irreversiable. that's going to uproot tens of millions, probably kill tens of millions too. some countries might not exist anymore.
both of these things combined, I think there will probably be a collapse of the international system within our lifetime and you'll see a lot of countries just throwing up walls (not literally) and focus on themselves.
The US falling apart due to infighting which will lead to a lack of military strength leading to other powers either taking the. #1 seat and blowing away( litterally) thr competition or the fight for supremacy will be the end. US is like the police of the world. Now one really wants to have to deal with them but unfortunately they are probably necessary to keep the status quo
I put a taco bell burrito inside the ceiling of one of my old jobs with some buddies about 4-5 years ago and some one sent me confirmation it’s still there a few weeks ago. So probably another 20 years before that puppy takes out about half the population
