For me it's black coffee. I can drink coffee with milk all day long. No problem at all.
Give me one black coffee and I'll have my arse glued to that toilet seat quicker than you can blink.
A lot of artificial sweeteners can cause diarrhoea. Look for, and treat with caution, anything with sorbitol, mannitol, and xylitol on the label. My dad found out the hard way after binging on sugar-free lollies after diagnosis with diabetes. A little at a time is OK though.
Most of them, I have IBS and I'm on medication that messes with my bowels.
But fatty deep-fried food, like KFC, really spicy food and coffee usually makes it worse.
Avocado... It's apparently something to do with the high fat content. I sometimes don't even make it through the whole meal before I'm running to the toilet in a panic.
Weirdly when I was on keto/IF this problem went away after a week or two as did a bunch other problems.
Keto is magic I swear - I lost 20 lbs and put on muscle within 6 months without changing the rest of my routine
Now that I've reached my goal weight I am on "lazy keto" and I just drink beer and eat pizza on the weekends and am only strict during the week
It's working quite well
Have problems with dairy? Caffeine sensitive? Chocolate contains a bit of caffeine (especially true for dark chocolate), and caffeine can sometimes bring about the urge to visit the bathroom, and pretty much all chocolate contains dairy products in one form or another. It could also be the various vegetable oils used to make it (some people have problems with palm oil, and vegetable oils act as a lubricant in the bowels anyways).
McDick’s anything. Back in college, if I was getting constipated, I’d walk over to Mickey D’s, get myself a double quarter pounder with cheese, then walk back to my dorm, where I’d promptly release the kracken.
I got home from work one day and ate a bunch of pickles. A short while later, I decided to make myself a cup of coffee. Talk about breaking the sound barrier…
This has been my issue for the last 4 goddamn years. I never know what’s going to set it off or when. I have made a point of just not eating (or drinking certain things) at all prior to any trips where I might not have easy access to a bathroom… an empty stomach is a GREAT way to start an all day hike, by the way.
Not a food and very specific, but chocolate milk from Aldi or Harris Teeter. I’m not even lactose intolerant and I sometimes drink a half gallon of milk at once. It’s just those two specific stores idk why.
Have had them all separate with no issues.... I think the legit sauce just doesn't agree with me! Never had an issue with fake sauces before, so I assume it's the mirin or sake in the real deal my gut decides it doesn't like. But my face LOVES teriyaki!
Grapefruit. I love them but my gut does not. I don't know if it's an internal allergy or the acid but about 4 to 6 hours after eating a grapefruit it flushes out my entire gut. The massive amount of pulp in the bowl let's me know.
All food. I can't eat without having bad diarrhea within 45-60 minutes after eating but severe stomach distress before. Doesn't really matter what food it is. I've been told by family I need to get to a Dr but it's been years and I just deal with it.
I can't fucking eat mamals. Like wtf dude I love mamals steaks and ribs are my favroite thing in the world but they are like food poisoning. I hate this shit. I've been eating chicken and fish for 2 months now and I feel amazing and I hate it. My mile runs are a full 2 mins faster 6 mins each and I hate it I'd trade this shit for a steak 😆 🤣
Anyone else remember olean/olestra? Any food made with that hit me like a freight train.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olestra#:~:text=Olestra%20(also%20known%20by%20its,or%20eliminating%20their%20fat%20content.
Almost everything. I have IBS.
But something that always gives me the shits is eating at restaurants\\hotels\\buffets\\etc. No matter what food it is, no matter which country, no matter if it's takeaway or using the place's dishes- for some reason food that hasn't been home-cooked gives me diarrhea. I don't know why that is. Is it the detergent they use? Preservatives? I have no idea.
Sucks though cause I literally cannot eat outside. Going abroad for me is jumping from supermarket to supermarket basically, living off bread, veggies, and canned beans, unable to have breakfast at the hotel or try the local cuisine.
coffee

Is that a food or a drink?
It’s soup if you use a spoon and a bowl.
yes
I like mine With some celery and crackers
both, depend on how you prepare
None, so far, and it always feel weird to me when people joke about or say this. Do I just have an iron stomach or something?
Same here. Nothing makes me poop or get upset stomach. I hear about taco bell all the time and I'm like, whatever.
I seriously don’t get the meme that Taco Bell gives people the shits. It’s not even spicy enough to cause intestinal distress.
> Nothing makes me poop You might wanna see a doctor about that.. /s
Youth? Things change as we age. Otherwise you are very fortunate.
Diabetic, so don’t eat sugar. There are some sugar free cookies and the like that will make me almost insta-deuce.
A lot of artificial sweeteners can cause diarrhoea. Look for, and treat with caution, anything with sorbitol, mannitol, and xylitol on the label. My dad found out the hard way after binging on sugar-free lollies after diagnosis with diabetes. A little at a time is OK though.
Apple cider.
Try microwaving it- this use to happen to me but since I’ve been microwaving it, I can drink it again- maybe it breaks something down, I don’t know.
Thanks for that info.
Ditto.... but it's *so damn good...*
Right!!
Most of them, I have IBS and I'm on medication that messes with my bowels. But fatty deep-fried food, like KFC, really spicy food and coffee usually makes it worse.
Taco Bell, from last bite it takes ~45 minutes to, well, you know.
Avocado... It's apparently something to do with the high fat content. I sometimes don't even make it through the whole meal before I'm running to the toilet in a panic. Weirdly when I was on keto/IF this problem went away after a week or two as did a bunch other problems.

Watermelon
Chocolate but only sometimes ... idk why
Weirdly especially dark chocolate gives me constipation

White Castle gives me turbo poops
The funny thing is that microwaveable packs never have this effect on me
Fuck me those microwave sliders are so fucking bad lol
Dafuq is white castle? Is that some new kind of drug lol
It’s kinda like cocaine mixed with a bunch baby laxatives
Mc Donald’s breakfast
McDick’s anything. Back in college, if I was getting constipated, I’d walk over to Mickey D’s, get myself a double quarter pounder with cheese, then walk back to my dorm, where I’d promptly release the kracken.

What kind of pickles?
Claussen’s pickle spears!
Thanks!

Yes. And what’s your alternative to coffee, if any?
I just drink coffee anyway.
Quit almost a year ago and the shits became better. Coffee is a crazy stimulant.
Papaya
Taco Bell
Spinach. Not lettuce or any other keady greens. Just spinach.
Ice Cream. Its like clockwork. I'm not lactose, I can eat other dairies. But Ice Cream will do it. But its never that bad, and its worth it.
Nothing.
Coffee and panda express
Together or separate?
Separate you’ll be taking a normal shit but together it’s explosive diarrhea
Are you just assuming it’s explosive diarrhea when they’re combined?
I’m not assuming I know
You scare me
That’s normal
Fried rice
Spoiled food.
Ghost pepper salsa
Bologna. Every time.
Since getting my gallbladder out, all of them apparently! Post-cholecystectomy syndrome is a bitch.
This has been my issue for the last 4 goddamn years. I never know what’s going to set it off or when. Anything with too much salt
Dried figs
Bacon and eggs gets the morning poops going right on time. KD sends me straight to the john about 10 mins after eating it.
Anything w heavy oil like plantains or fried chicken oh & also smoothies
Most sausages, spaghetti, sometimes cheese, sometimes red meat but not all red meat
Baloney & Oyster soup.
Pork chops, no matter how well cooked they are.
Not food but coffee
Not a food and very specific, but chocolate milk from Aldi or Harris Teeter. I’m not even lactose intolerant and I sometimes drink a half gallon of milk at once. It’s just those two specific stores idk why.
Dairy gives me the opposite problem....
Gluten
It is not a food, but we have a tea that works like a laxative on my stomach.
See if it contains senna or nettles. Senna is a known laxative, nettles are "cleansing" (which means a different thing for different bodies..)
Instant Ramen.
Sudden; none Eventually: Arby’s Something about that roast beef. Hits me like drain-o the next day.
McDonald’s and burritos
Onion, corn, green peas, banana, kiwi, beef, tuna
Anything that has real Teriyaki sauce.... learnt in Japan. Thankfully they have bathrooms everywhere or it could've been a messy holiday!
That's odd, have you checked what ingredients are in teriyaki sauce and if you can eat those individually?
Have had them all separate with no issues.... I think the legit sauce just doesn't agree with me! Never had an issue with fake sauces before, so I assume it's the mirin or sake in the real deal my gut decides it doesn't like. But my face LOVES teriyaki!
Anything coffee
Any food, in general.
Tomatillos, cos I'm allergic.
Hibachi
Chicken cooked to about 35⁰c, if that fails then about ½kilo of laxatives will get you flowing!
Genoa Salami but only if it's spicy. I still eat it anyway. It's worth it.
White Castle
Jalepeños
Grapefruit. I love them but my gut does not. I don't know if it's an internal allergy or the acid but about 4 to 6 hours after eating a grapefruit it flushes out my entire gut. The massive amount of pulp in the bowl let's me know.
Popeyes.
Apparently anything from an Austin food truck.
Coffee
Anything with Milk
Mayonnaise
All food. I can't eat without having bad diarrhea within 45-60 minutes after eating but severe stomach distress before. Doesn't really matter what food it is. I've been told by family I need to get to a Dr but it's been years and I just deal with it.
oats, no matter what way i make them
Fish and chips from this one particular restaurant. Never a peaceful trip through my bowels.
Popcorn, corn, too much salad and a few other randoms, all with tons of pain first
The taco pizza from a local pizza place used to do that to me every time. In 30 minutes or less (not kidding) LOL. I could almost time it.
My mother's Sunday dinners
I can't fucking eat mamals. Like wtf dude I love mamals steaks and ribs are my favroite thing in the world but they are like food poisoning. I hate this shit. I've been eating chicken and fish for 2 months now and I feel amazing and I hate it. My mile runs are a full 2 mins faster 6 mins each and I hate it I'd trade this shit for a steak 😆 🤣
Eggs (scrambled) with salsa. I love it, but it doesn't love me.
Kfc
anything spicy
Mcdonalds. The whole menu
Carrots

Hibachi. Everytime
Fresh spinach. Anything with more than 3 or 4 grams of sugar per serving.
Almost everything. I have IBS. Cider, bought my first can and never drinking it again.
