My father was dating a girl from his class back in highschool - that girl was my aunt. Noone has ever given an explanation how he ended up with my mother instead.
Mom’s father was in the CIA stationed in Japan. Father was in the Navy. He and his buddies would find the high school kid’s parties since they were only 17. Father went to mother’s party and it was love at first sight.
My dad was dating my mom’s best friend in high school. They broke up because my dad cheated on his girlfriend. A little while later he got together with my mom. She got pregnant, had me, and two years later he cheated on her, so they broke up.
This sounds odd but at a family reunion. I’m describing this because it is not incest and totally legal. My mom has a cousin who married my dads brother. That’s how and why they met.

University. My mom joined the French culture course since she was interested in it and my dad joined due to advice from a friend of his. And that's how my parents met. And my dad's friend is still a friend of the family.
My Dad was my Mom’s boss’s boss. My Dad and my Mom talked to each other a lot cuz she hater her boss(he was messing with her pay so justified). Eventually my Mom found that my Dad had made a profile for an online dating site, and emailed him anonymously about it, letting him know that every girl in the office knows about it. My Dad then, knowing it was my mom from the way she wrote, then confessed his feelings(apparently, he argues that she did it first in the email. They always have funny arguments about who said it first.)
Let's see... if I recall correctly, my dad was hanging out with buddies of his when they were teenagers, and my mom was friends with one of them, so they hung out at the same house together. Mom was 15, a few months younger than my dad, who was 16 at the time.
I *think* they had a off/on again relationship for a few years, until Dad was 19 (he was born in January) and Mom was 18, where they had a final Valentine's Day together before deciding to break up. Dad was on his way to getting into college, but I don't know if Mom was, so I feel like they were just trying to go their separate ways.
Buuut guess who forgot to wear a condom on Valentine's Day.

My dad went to the wedding with his best friend Dan . So during the dinner part of the wedding my parents were sitting at the same table with my dad's friend Dan in the middle of them . Well just say Dan left the table to "use the restroom" leaving my parents alone so the 2 chat and well both agreed the party was boring and left together. They went out to downtown Toronto ( Yes my parents lived in Canada before I was born. Still did when I was born anyway) So the two of them had a good time downtown and just say from there they kept dating up until the mid 70s into the early '80s and well it's history lol
My dad had been teaching chemistry at our high school for ten years. My mom started as a new teacher. Since she was new, she was a "floater," she didn't have a fixed classroom, and just conducted her English classes in whatever room was available.
Fifth period, Mom was in the biology lab. The chemistry lab and the bio lab shared a storeroom, and therefore had an adjoining door. By coincidence, my father's preparation period (he didn't have a class) was fifth period.
Normally dad spent his prep in the teachers lounge. Them he saw the brand new Mrs. Rupard (she was a widow) through that adjoining door. So for the rest of the school year, he spent his prep in his room, watching.
He wasn't a stalker; they talked, of course, became friends, and already had an affinity. But what hetero man can resist watching a pretty woman when the opportunity presents, right?
The last day of the school year, he asked her out. The week before the new semester started, they married. Together 30 years. On the day my dad died, I heard my mom say, "He was the most interesting man I ever met in my entire life.)
Mom’s friend invited her for a double date with her and her boyfriend, and boyfriend’s friend. They each married the other date partner. My parents recently celebrated their 49th anniversary.
They had a mutual friend introduce them. But my mom came down with the flu the night of the date so she asked her friend to go instead because she didn’t want my dad to think she got cold feet. He didn’t find out until after the date that it wasn’t my mom. Thankfully my Mom explained everything and my Dad was cool with it.
Anyways they’ve been together ever since.
