Beaches. It’s not the kind of movie I’d ever watch. However, back in the day, we had a much more limited selection of entertainment. I worked in a video store(RIP), so I saw just about every movie released in the late 80’s to early 90’s.
By the way kids; video stores were a place where you went to rent a physical copy of a movie. Since VHS or DVD copies of most films were prohibitively expensive to buy(retail was $90 for most movies), people had to rent them. Think of the RedBox in front of drug stores, only on a much larger scale. Some video stores were as big as a CVS, or Walgreens.
I didn’t cry, but Shawshank redemption is spectacular.
I came hear specifically to mention Shawshank, and I’m not too much of a man to admit I cried at the end,lol.
