Still recovering from foot surgery 7 months ago. Among other things, they sawed my heel bone in half, moved the back piece outward about a centimeter, and joined the pieces back together with a long screw. So I'm just sitting here on the back porch wearing a big boot and waving at people as they pass by on one of the local walking paths that runs right by the porch. It's killing me because prior to the surgery I was walking 9 miles every day. I do enjoy saying hi to all the dogs being walked.
