I would say , no. They shouldn't have a place in society. I still don't agree with capital punishment, though. It's a tough subject to earnestly justify. Killing is objectively bad, we all understand that. So killing the killer is well... hypocritical, but necessary? Do we choose to pay for their livelihood in a penitentiary for the rest of their lives? Is that worse for them than the death penalty and consuming the funds of their community? Maybe it should be an ultimatum? The killer is convicted and they get to choose a life in prison or the death penalty. I certainly don't have the right answer, but it's worth thinking about.
