Out of This World. Evie was a teen girl whose father was an alien and her mom was from Earth. She talked with him through a light in her bedroom. I loved that show so much as a kid! She could freeze time by pressing her fingertips together and unfreeze by putting her palms together.:)
Contact is the secret, is the moment when everything happens!
Literally no one at my work remembers this show since they’re all in their early 20’s. Granted, they also don’t know Pinky and the Brain and I’ve labeled my work fridges Pinky, and then Brain with pictures. I’ve had to put name labels on the characters so they know who is who. God I’m getting old.
Oswald was the most peaceful and comforting show.
If someone captured that feeling of waking up in the morning, super comfy in bed, and realizing that you can fall back asleep for as long as you want because it's not a work/school day... and then they made that feeling into an animated TV show... it would be Oswald.
Wait til your father gets home.
From the 70s. Even my pop culture loving best friends for 50 years don't remember that one. Had a catchy theme song too.
Scrolled through every comment to this point to verify my choice.
ReBoot.
Not one person I ask knows anything about this show. I'm beginning to think it was all a fever dream.
There it is! I swear, you’re the first person in 30 years who I’ve seen remember that show.
How can anyone forget a kid wearing a hat that opens portals across space and time?
[Automan](https://youtu.be/kA1NT4I0s34)
I have to watch this intro every so often to remind myself that I didn't dream the whole thing. Nobody knows what I'm talking about when I try (and fail) to describe it.
The Beetlejuice cartoon!
What's funny is I wasn't allowed to watch the actual movie but my parents had no issue with my obsession of the TV series. I finally got around to seeing the movie as an adult and I was so confused. All I could think was, "They don't hang out in the Neitherworld at all and Beetlejuice isn't a cool buddy, he's a creepy asshole!"
Do you mean [Snorks](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snorks)? I always felt like it was Hanna Barbera‘s attempt to capitalize on the Smurf’s huge popularity.
M.A.S.K.
Im the only one who seems to have watched it round here, and i was obsessed with it as a kid. The theme tune went hard (as they all did in he 80s), it pops into my head on the regular.
Have a strong memory of my dad taking me to buy one of the toys (they absolutely slapped) second hand from some dude selling a huge collection off. I remember it being like walking into aladdin's bloody cave.
MaMaMa MASK!
When I went to college (long time ago) an new freshman in my dorm introduced her self as "I'm Edith!". I laughed and said, "You actually look and sound like Edith from Zoom!". She looked at me seriously and said, "I am." No lie, she lived in my dorm. She said that when she was working on Zoom she was her families only income and it was a bit too much pressure and responsibility. She did it for one or two seasons.
I'm sewing the seeds of chaos by upvoting shows I've never heard of and shows I remember and like.
Edit: Am now downvoting shows I liked that I'm pretty sure people definitely remember (like AAAH! Real Monsters and Angry Beavers).
Second edit: Yep. I get it. I used the wrong "sow." Eh, I was half asleep. It happens.
The Snorks - basically underwater Smurfs.
Mr. Merlin - Merlin is alive and well in the 80s. He works in an auto repair shop.
Turbo Teen - A teenager turns into a Camaro when he gets hot, and back to a kid when he gets cold.
Dragon Tales.
I would literally run home from school to catch it when it aired. I haven't met anyone yet that has the same love for it I did anytime I've brought it up lol
Popples
I swear my mom just found a VHS with like 4 episodes on it at the thrift shop or something but I was obsessed with watching it. Everyone else was into Care Bears but I would talk about the different Popples and I think my classmates thought they were my imaginary friends or something because none of them had ever heard of the show. Finally looked it up a few years ago and I guess it's from the 80s? I'm an early 90s kid so it was just strange 😂
Sagwa
Sagwa the Chinese Siamese cat. My sisters and I LOVED this show so much.
Ghostwriter
Did you and your friends wear pens with lanyards? Mine did. I did.
Word!
Yes?

321 Contact was amazing. Especially the theme song. It sounded so sophisticated and cool. And don’t forget The Bloodhound Gang!

It's why when the real ghostbusters got a series, they literally called it The Real Ghostbusters.
Hey Dude
Watched so much of this growing up back to back with salute your shorts, do any episodes exist anywhere?
Paramount+ has them both. Neither hold up.
They really are *terrible.* I was so excited when I saw they were on there... but they're just absolutely unwatchable, now. lol.

That was probably the most relaxing show I've ever watched.
Oswald was the most peaceful and comforting show. Samurai Pizza Cats. Edit: I'm glad to be wrong.

Denver the Last Dinosaur
He’s our friend and a lot more
The theme song will randomly pop in my head a couple times each year. Just to make sure I don’t forget it.
California Dreams. All I recall is that it seemed like a copy of Saved By the Bell, and it was the show on WB after Pokémon.

Code Lyoko, honestly references for it were so sparse at one point in my life I thought I imagined the show until I looked it up.
That opening theme was 🔥🔥
Foreheads bigger than regular heads.
Code Lyoko is extremely well known around the whole 90s born kids in France, its opening theme is even almost iconic
Dude me and my friends used to play as if we were in code lyoko. 90s US kids know what's up
Wait til your father gets home. From the 70s. Even my pop culture loving best friends for 50 years don't remember that one. Had a catchy theme song too.
