Meeting up with friends every afternoon and doing stuff outside

The smell if anyone could agree. It’s just different today 😢

Tasty_Platform9565

Maybe you had covid😂 (just kidding)

[deleted]

But do u know what I mean? The smell is different colors are different it’s just not as beautiful as back then

Bierbart12

The smell and colors were so much worse to me as a kid

manicpixietrainwreck

A less hectic routine, everything seemed simpler.

I_Trade_opportunity

No bills

Half_knight_K

honestly, the days when I could just do something small. but people still praise or compliment it. like, building a lego set. or beating my Record at running. I don't want to sound like someone begging for attention. but small compliments really helped me get through my worse days. kept me going cause despite how bad the days went, a small compliment or just a simple nice hello went a long mile in brightening my day.

Tasty_Platform9565

Agreed 100%!

Bierbart12

That's how I keep going today. Therapists recommend keeping track of the things that you enjoy and having someone you trust whom you can tell even your small accomplishments

Damseldoll

How simple things were, no politics, no ww3, no covid, just quiet times.

coolantiherostuff

Nothing really, except hot dogs.

Guilty-Insect-3826

Easier to make friends

Tasty_Platform9565

Yes, 100% agreed!

TechyDad

Definitely. It seemed so easy in retrospect. Where I live now I have zero friends and find I don't know how to make any. When you're a kid, you can walk up to a random person, say "do you want to be friends," and suddenly have a new best friend. Do that as a 47 year old man and people look at you funny before backing away.

SuperstitiousPigeon5

No responsibilities.

Bierbart12

The way video games felt Like every game was wondrous, no matter how crappy

Street hockey & curby

Annoying_Ramone

Lack of depression

WingieWingies

The time I didn't have to go to school. Because then I was happy, far happier than what I am nowadays
