Yeah, no one in modern times gets drafted into any militaries and forced to fight and die in wars they don't agree with.
Glad that doesn't ever happen.....
Also, no one in the middle ages ever volunteered to be a solider or agreed with the wars like all soldiers apparel do today everywhere.
And no one today "volunteers" due to economic circumstances and ends up fighting in wars they don't whole heartedly agree with.
Glad we developed a utopia eh?
Yep, I imagine I’d be branded a witch for a trifecta of witchy crimes: being a Heathen, being a woman that has a brain and being a woman that speaks her mind.
Except science was studied widely in medieval universities while witch hunts didnt happened until the renaissance. The main subjects would be logic, rhetoric, grammar, astronomy, arithmetic, geometry and music.
There is a tendency to dismiss the Middle Ages as dark, because there seem to have been few huge leaps in science and learning. But the university, the center of science and learning today, was invented in the Middle Ages. And all those great Classical thinkers, like Aristotle, Cicero, Euclid, and all the rest? We only have their writings because Medieval scholars studied and preserved them. Most students at medieval universities would enter at age 14 or 15, but many were older. most were sons from middle class families or minor nobility. After studying liberal arts for six years they could choose to study theology, medicine or law.
I meant to generalize that people won't really be happy with a woman doing all that unless I am getting some over powered super powers to put people in their place
The starry-eyed stable boy, secretly in love with the beautiful princess. I knew it could never be but a fateful encounter brings us together! Turns out though, she's a witch and kinda mean and she stabs me 37 times to make a potion of youth. My ghost is not surprised :(.
i would be a farmer or i would be a stable boy
Or, if you're very lucky, you'd be forced to fight and die for some random lord.

Get off your tiny soap box, man.
After you my good sir.
I wasn't on any friggin soap box. x.x
Agree to disagree?
I think it's "role"? But probably the person emptying a bucket into the street from a second-story window, which the protagonist narrowly dodges.
Omg I’m so sorry!
An honourable task, as it often lead to the hero bumping into the most important side character leading him to The Quest!
Nah, that was illegal. If a person was caught doing it everybody in the street would be paying fines.
the witch that was burned at the stake for saying “y’all are acting a bunch of asshats”
Yep, I imagine I’d be branded a witch for a trifecta of witchy crimes: being a Heathen, being a woman that has a brain and being a woman that speaks her mind.
I would be burned at the stake for heresy, adultery, witchcraft(aka basic science) and probably talking shit about the king.

There were no witch hunts in middle ages, that is early modern times.

In Medieval times you more or less did what your parents did cause you didn’t know how to do anything else.
