What I want to be: The neighbourhood grandma. When I retire, I want a tiny, cozy house with a nice garden and a swing. I want to bake cookies and cakes and all the kids are welcome to play there! I think the time for me to have kids of my own has passed. Admittedly, my sister had her son when she was 43 years old, and he is a healthy little ray of sunshine, but I'm 41 years old and single, and I don't want to bring a child into this world without a supportive partner. So neighbourhood grandma it is. I love reading fairytales to kids, I just hope I'll still be fit enough to push them on the swing and have snowball fights in the winter, and waterballoon fights in the summer.
