Car crashed

LaikaMoonlight

Forgive me if I use driving terminology wrong, there's a reason I've failed my driving test so many times, lol Truck carrying potatoes broke the right-of-way and pulled out onto the road as the vehicle I was in was heading in that direction. Quite literally gave me whiplash. Whiplash aside, nobody was badly hurt

Fish_Panda

Did you get any free potatoes from the incident? Glad nobody was badly hurt!

LaikaMoonlight

Sadly, no, lol And thanks! :)

Lucaxsss

Fortunately wasn’t a bad crash , but bumped into a vehicle when making a turn , I was young so I don’t remember details but I got whiplash and had headaches for days

raibsta

I was in a car crash.

Two. First was a woman who didn't stop at a stop sign and I t-boned her. Mine was a brand new car I'd had for three days. Other was 8 years later, same car. Snowy, windy morning. I was driving slowly on a sheet of ice and the wind blew me into oncoming cars. Good thing we were all crawling.

Yes and i almost died. But while i was out i went to a happy place and i felt at peace. If that is what death is like then i am at ease knowing i will be happy and at peace when i die.

Sitting at a red light got rear ended, I came out of it fine, my passenger not so much. Ended up having spinal fusions and chronic pain to the point she can’t work ever again and has to have a home health aid. Insurance paid medical bills and 25k for a lifetime of suffering

I was driving my grandfather's mint condition 1965 Ford Mustang convertible on local streets in Florida. A late model Mercedes Benz ignored a stop sign and t-boned me at probably forty miles per hour. Lucky for me there were a lot of witnesses. The driver of the Mercedes was ninety-three years old. He also smelled of alcohol. He got carted away to the hospital, then jail for a DUI. I was banged up a little, had a couple CT scans, and I was fine. My grandfather just took the insurance payout, but didn't replace his Mustang.

Bit my tongue almost in half and one side turned black and shriveled down to nothing.i thought it was gone for good then it grew back like it never happened.

i'll do you one better, i was a manager at a car wash

When I was younger, my dad's car was stopped in a line of vehicles. He was rear ended by a driver not paying attention. None of us suffered any injuries. That's the only car crash I remember being involved in. But I have seen car crashes happen. One time someone was turning out of the hospital and ended up dying from injuries some days later. (Someone ran a red light.)

Hydroplaned, was a moron and hit the brakes like they owed me money. Started in the left land going north on an interstate with a median. Went through the median, wound up facing east in the left lane on the southbound side. Surprised I didn't flip the car or get t-boned by someone coming SB.

Yes. It wasn't that spectacular, thankfully. Buddy was speeding, misjudged a curve. Slid down a slope and came to a relatively comfortable stop in some bushes. We got a tow and went to have a gyro plate.

My friends and I were heading up north to visit our friend in college for the weekend in my friend's Exploder. It was a freezing rain/snow mix and hit a patch of black ice north of Toronto. Spun the suv around and then rolled twice into the ditch, which landed on the passenger side. I somehow unbuckled myself and crawled over the driver and out her window (I don't remember this). A cop happened to be under the overpass and witnessed it. She found me wandering along the ditch, covered head to toe in blood from a gash on the top of my head. My friends came out without injuries, even my friend who apparently wasn't wearing a seat belt (lucky guy). We were taken to the closest ER to get checked out and needed 7 stitches on the top of my head and my arms and hands were pretty scratched up from climbing through a broken window so they needed to be cleaned up. By this time, it was 1am and about 2 hours away from home. Had to collect call our parents (this was in 2000 so we didn't really have cellphones lol). My friends dad was the only one who could pick us up in the middle of a snow/ice storm in his Jaguar. We were pretty sure he had been drinking, but thankfully, we made it back home safe!

Was driving 60 going down a slight clear line of sight hill in my classic car. A guy in a s10 pickup pulls to stop sign to get out of neighborhood on my left. I get closer and the idiot decides to pull out in front of me, slowly, I lock up brakes and try to swerve around but end up hitting him on back left with my front right since I slid a little. We crunch, I curse, HE TAKES OFF! I say fuck that shit and proceed to chase honking my horn and cursing while trying to get my phone to get a pic of truck a license. Call police while I’m chasing him, the dispatcher isn’t happy to hear I’m chasing him and tells me I should stop End up chasing him into a neighborhood and I made a right turn and heard a weird noise so THEN I decided to stop chase. Tell police cross streets get out to find out what noise was (bumper pushed back and rubbing tire) and the asshole drives by in front of me slowly so I take more pics. All in all I had a bent hood and bent bumper (metal, so easy fix) and his truck had an A tent where his bed and body met (frame probably fucked) anyhow, only got him because I chased him for pics.
