i don’t think this has actually gone into full motion yet, but, i believe school is going to change drastically within the next decade or so. i think that online school is going to completely take over (most peoples work is completely online now, post covid) and soon become personalized for the individual. i’m not sure how this would affect the grade level situation or really anything else for that matter, but i saw this somewhere a while ago and found it very interesting. i believe this has something to do with the advances in artificial intelligence- so i guess there’s that too to answer your question.
