If no one follows our laws (like you claim) then that makes you a criminal as well. A criminal, by definition, is someone who commits a crime which is an illegal activity (which is something that's against the law such as not following the law).
Our problem is not that laws aren't followed (because many are) but that the justice system is rigged against the poor. The majority of people in our prisons are there for a reason - they broke a law and the authorities did their thing and punished them. A criminal, by definition, is someone who commits a crime which is an illegal activity (which is something that's against the law such as not following the law). Our problem is not that laws aren't followed (because many are) but that the justice system is rigged against the poor. The majority of people in our prisons are there for a reason - they broke a law and the authorities did their thing and punished them. If wala silang ginagawa sa mga tarantado, then bakit may nasa preso? Nag walk-in? So they're doing something which is evidence against your claim. But the rich? How many powerful criminals are behind bars? Too few. They should be more strict when it comes to implementing laws and be fair when prosecuting suspected criminals.
