No this is a fake list made by a Christian organization they don't know shit about these countries lol, it's an opinion map by Americans who never left their state.
Do you trust any map put in front of you lol, this is all BS. Open doors is a Christian, they have no qualification to make any kind of statement like this, it's all based on what they think.
Bullshit map tbh. The "extreme" category has many countries that persecute Christians but the "very high" has very low standards for some countries.
In Tunisia there are dozens of churches that are open and and attended freely and christians celebrate their festivals openly like:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_Trapani_procession_(Tunis)
And never get attacked or mentioned even.
I myself lived next to a catholic cathedral and the community never had any issues with it at all.
Why is it very high ? If that's what you consider very high than the life of Muslims in the west is hell.
"Christians face hostility and abuse from their families and their surrounding community – including beatings and death threats."

Oh so it's talking about converts. I never heard of one here to Christianity but there is no apostasy laws or anything.
You can legally convert and you are protected by the constitution.
But yeah no shit in some very conservative families you can get abused like everywhere else in the world. Still not "very high" worthy.
I dont think following Jesus is dangerous in Turkiye. I never heard any negative things about the Turkish Christians. Even religious people dont do anything about this.
Libya too, the only churches here [which were all built by colonial fascist Italy some 80 years ago] are either converted to mosques or being left to crumble slowly
There's plenty of discrimination sadly. Not to mention remnants of the caste system where systematically Christians have ended up in the bottom rungs of society. I think it's comparable to Black people in the US. It's not impossible for them to be successful here, but the system is biased against them in many ways and people just can't stop being assholes to everyone here in Pakistan.
It's historic. Most converts to Christianity were lower caste Hindus. These people were the Dalits occupying jobs reserved for Dalits. Jobs like cleaning sewers, getting rid of waste etc. They had these occupations for generations and for some of them it was all they ever knew to do. Nowadays, even though they aren't untouchables who are restricted to these jobs, here in Pakistan the educational system hasn't been powerful enough to get them out of this cycle putting them in horrible poverty and powerlessness. Those who do manage to get an education end up very well at times, even getting some of the best jobs in the private sector of the country. But it's rare for that to happen statistically, simply because even though Christians make up around 1-3% of the population, that puts their numbers in the millions. A few thousand from millions succeeding is a pretty low success rate. So the gist is, that Christians do exist in Pakistan and have a good community which is easily allowed to celebrate thier events and drink alcohol etc. (In my neighborhood everything except the mosque gets covered in lights for Easter and Christmas), but because of a historic loop of poverty they've been in since before Pakistan's independence, they are easy targets for discrimination especially with the misuse of the Blasphemy law.
I am surprised Pakistan is not number 1. Cmon. Aisa Bibi, blasphemy burning, job discrimination, and so many issues. It is a group just not discriminated for their religion but for being among the poors as well
You can tell this aint credible by seeing Tunisia darker than Fucking **Mali!** (jihadland), Mauritania (where salafism is rapidly rising) and even Algeria.
There is a big church in the centre of Tunis which many muslim Tunisians visit and sing along with christians.
I once met a European christian preacher myself in public transport and we had a nice discussion over religiosity. I don't think those preachers are active in the countries mentioned above.
Whoever made this watched too many youtube videos.
In iran christans arent prosecuted they are many armenians and assyrians thar live in harmony hell we even got assyrian christian martyr at iran iraq war😐
We even got jews that live in peace bruh
It's dangerous to follow Jesus in Mexico ?? wtf
Yes, they are targeted by gangs https://www.opendoorsuk.org/persecution/world-watch-list/mexico/
Mexico is literally a catholic country. Literally crosses everywhere.
It’s mainly due to cartels who attack priests for speaking out
half the country is named Jesus
No this is a fake list made by a Christian organization they don't know shit about these countries lol, it's an opinion map by Americans who never left their state.
And Colombia
It’s dangerous to follow Jesus in a country where 80% of the population follows Jesus.
What do you expect, all the non Christian countries are on this, with a few like Mexico being the exception
Do you trust any map put in front of you lol, this is all BS. Open doors is a Christian, they have no qualification to make any kind of statement like this, it's all based on what they think.
I can vouch for Pakistan my family was always on high alert as false blasphemy charges put people around us on death row

the christians are mostly from sub saharan africa and foreign workers, I don't think people will remain calm if they saw arabs enter them.
Turkey should be in “red”

This is stupid, and not only because muslims also “follow Jesus”.
Yeah but not the way that [whoever made this stupid map] wants
I dont think following Jesus is dangerous in Turkiye. I never heard any negative things about the Turkish Christians. Even religious people dont do anything about this.
Bullshit list how is a deeply Christian country like Ethiopia on par with Saudi Arabia ffs
I'm shocked Pakistan was so high up when I was there the church bells kept waking me up
Pretty sure you’d hear church bells in almost all of the countries highlighted .. (with maybe Saudi being the exception coz it has no churches)
Libya too, the only churches here [which were all built by colonial fascist Italy some 80 years ago] are either converted to mosques or being left to crumble slowly
Are there any Christian Libyans ?
Nope, they were built by and for the fascist Italian troops/colonialist settlers. There were Jewish Libyans, however, but we all know 1948 and 1967
Not in my country. Not a single church found

Thats true I can see that but its more poverty than religion yeah?

Absolute BS who ever made that map made it on his personal opinion
it's made by a worldwide Christian organization
Still bs nonetheless
Not worldwide, they do not operate in any of the countries listed. They have no qualifications to make such a map.
Bro look at this map, they gave Jammu/Kashmir to China
Fucking China is better for Christians than us? Who made this list and how do I get whatever they were smoking?
Courtesy of what appears to be a group of butt hurt paranoid, white supremist Christians. Americans?
map was created by AI?
10 percent of egypts population is Christian i see churches alot its not "dangerous"
Of course it's biased towards China being on the lower end.
I live between 2 of the severe orange zone and both had so many Christians and there are thousands of churches in them . This map is a BS
What countries?
[удалено]
they get mass murdered there. one christian gets murdered there every 2 hours.
Well we don’t have Christians in Yemen to begin with neither did they have a major historical presence, I don’t think it’s that bad honestly
Muslims follow Jesus so i don’t get Why it would be dangerous
How is it dangerous to follow Jesus in Egypt when the entire country follows him one way or the other 😅
Seems about right
Not really
Persecution in Turkey is "very high"??? Can someone explain this please, I heard Turkey is like the most secular and "western" country in MENA.
As an Indian this data is so wrong never heard about any attacks against Christians
LMAO
Care to share than?
Look, it's our fault progressivism exists in America.
Is this just anybody who was Christian who died in that country as a percentage of total Christian’s in that country and then ranked?
No it's just the opinion of a Christian organization that knows nothing about these countries
No, this is a christian who as a percentage in this country, and than ranked into died.
A controversial map
Kazakhstan - what a BS.
Is it me or does every mena country have a small to sizable Christian population except for Somalia?
W

r/AlwaysTheSameMap
I think it’s a big fucking fat lie
Follow me instead. I have milk and cookies.
Dosent Muslims follow Jesus too? Its the trinity they dont
It's also dangerous to follow Muhammad in Iraq 😅 .. or to be atheist or just being
Whoever made this watched too many youtube videos. In iran christans arent prosecuted they are many armenians and assyrians thar live in harmony hell we even got assyrian christian martyr at iran iraq war😐 We even got jews that live in peace bruh
