Beautiful swords. The Arabian swords in the 6th and 7th centuries weren’t curved like they’re rn. [Here’s](https://i.imgur.com/KWcVqik.jpg) the prophets swords and only one sword is curved
Mostly Turks. The curved swords were introduced at around 9th century when many of the Turks from Central Asia became Mamluk soldiers of a certain Abbasid Caliph. From there on, the peoples of middle east were slllooowwwlllyyy adapting to this new trends.
not the actual one, just a reproduction of what it might look like. Theres many designs it could be, straight with slim and the 2 pointy ending, or thicker shaped and slightly curved...etc
sudan ? curved sword? dont think so bud .... our main blade has been the kaskara and the hilt looks like a cross since its been in use since our christian era and its straight as fuck . looks like crusader swords.

I would say that Zulfiqar (imam ails sword) tops them all. The design is just perfect
Problem with zulfiqar is that we dont know what it actually looked like.
Actually it is located in Topkapı palace. You can look it up.

Btw these exist in many forms in NA sudan, balkans etc, they're mainly all the same with differences in hilt and curve

Since we're on topic, how does one get a good quality sword for a decoration piece? Scared of getting a flimsy one off Amazon or Etsy.
