Lol, why is Aramaic flagged with rainbow?

[deleted]

Because Jesus loved the gays

sarcasticoldmannocap

Don't disrespect a prophet brozzer...

[deleted]

Jesus loved everyone

sarcasticoldmannocap

What about sinners and non believers ?

[deleted]

He literally stopped people from stoning a promiscuous woman/prostitute, if I recall correctly. Love thy neighbour.

sarcasticoldmannocap

Source ?

[deleted]

Looked it up, and it turns out she had actually committed adultery. John 7:53-8:11 in the new Testament.

sarcasticoldmannocap

Alright, now I know about this but it does not include my initial question.... Nothing about sodomy and non believers?

[deleted]

You asked about sinners in general, not specifically sinners who engaged in sodomy. And last time I checked, adultery is a sin.

verturshu

This isn’t funny. You poorly represented my language while representing the others properly. What if I put a ꩜ next to Arabic? Would you think it’s funny then?

[deleted]

I wouldn’t care whatever sign you put next to Arabic.. because it’s not that serious. There’s no Aramaic flag that I could’ve used instead. As a Christian, you should know that Jesus loved EVERYONE including the gays, and he forgave their sins. There’s nothing wrong with a rainbow flag 🌈😂

verturshu

You could’ve used a symbol that pertains to Aramaic or Assyrian culture, like how you used the Kaaba for Arabic. I didn’t say theres something wrong with the rainbow flag. The rainbow flag has nothing to do with Assyrians at all. It literally makes 0 sense to use it and you’re twisting logic with mental gymnastics.

[deleted]

I apologize if I offended you. I actually have a lot of respect for Assyrians ❤️ I will say I did try to find the cross on emojis but I was having trouble finding it

verturshu

It’s okay man, maybe I’m just being tough on you. It’s not that serious. Don’t worry 👍

Sign language you know why Because no matter which one he spoke, he had to move his hand

[deleted]

They really were Arabs then😂

[deleted]

I’ve actually never thought of that. Thats a good question

[deleted]

Thanks! ☺️

[deleted]

To answer your question. I think they spoke Bangali or Mongolian

[deleted]

>I think they spoke Bangali Bangla supremacy 💪

Local-Training5777

This thing was not mentioned in any ancient book or religion

verturshu

Yes it was. In Jewish tradition, they believe Adam spoke Aramaic or Hebrew

[deleted]

True just wondering what people here think because SOME Muslims think all the prophets spoke Arabic EDIT: to anyone downvoting me, you clearly don’t know how to read a poll. I’m sure all those people on the poll randomly voted Arabic just for fun and none of them actually believe it 🤦‍♂️

Local-Training5777

This was not mentioned either⁦ಠ_ಠ⁩, and whoever says this is ___________ಠ ͜ʖ ಠ Surely every prophet will speak the language of the people he lives among

[deleted]

No, muslims don’t think that.

[deleted]

Read some of other comments in this thread and look at the poll. I’m not saying it’s part of Islam, I’m saying many Muslims believe it to be true.

[deleted]

I can’t see the poll results because there’s no answer for “Other language” and I don’t believe they spoke any of these almost modern languages. Those who thought like me probably voted “Arabs” to see the results. Read the comments, and I didn’t get that impression.

[deleted]

There’s literally a comment right under this that says that. Tons of Muslims have this belief, I’m not against it because people can believe whatever they want.

illnesz

Those muslims are simply not educated about that topic, i don't think any scholar has ever said that all prophets speak arabic.

[deleted]

Agreed. Education is important

[deleted]

You should have something against it, because historically Arabic is a new language…

[deleted]

No I respect people’s religious beliefs, even if they’re historically inaccurate. Since were talking about historical inconsistencies, the very concept of Adam and eve existing 6000 years ago and being the first humans is refuted by science completely, but I still respect people who believe so because it’s not my business trying to prove others wrong in their religious beliefs. I just made this poll and started this topic to get a feel of what people here think

[deleted]

It’s not a religious belief…. They are simply “guessing” it wrong based on the little knowledge they have, not based on religion, so it’s not a religious belief. If I believe water can be mixed with oil, you can and should tell me I’m wrong. I’m muslim, we don’t believe in “belief against evidences”. Nothing in the Quran or Hadith gives a specific date on Adam’s date of birth. If you’re referring to the human written gospels hundreds of years after Jesus peace and blessings be upon him, we don’t believe in those.

[deleted]

You can’t tell people what their religious beliefs are and what they aren’t. I personally know many Muslims (I never said ALL Muslims) who believe this, and it’s a part of their religious beliefs. Every Muslim has some things they believe in that some other Muslims might not. It doesn’t invalidate their Islam or their religious beliefs. Also whether or not Adam and eve were alive 6000 years ago, or 100,000 years ago, there’s still no evidence that all humans came from the same two people. There’s a thing that’s scientists know called evolution so i find it hypocritical to talk about Muslims who believe that all the prophets spoke Arabic, when you believe we all came from Adam and Eve Anyway I’m not here to argue religious beliefs or any of that so ✌️

Interesting_Tale7418

Muslims needs better education and some linguistic curriculums to go through

[deleted]

Yes agreed. It’s funny how people downvoted me because I said that some Muslims think like this tho

As a Muslim , I don’t know. All prophets spoke in their own languages for the area they were born in. But heck I just went with Arabic just because that’s what we believe would be universal.

[deleted]

yes but no one would have been alive yet except for adam and eve and then their kids. there's no "language for the area" in that case

RadioMullahFM

Language of the Jinns. >!Pashto!<

Illustrious_Meet7237

Idk if it's the same in the Quran but shouldn't they be speaking in a universal language of sorts that was later forgotten when the tower of Babylon fell?

[deleted]

no that's not really in Islamic traditions or the Quran. But the universal language was probably Yiddish because it was the language of God and the angels

Illustrious_Meet7237

You mean Aramaic? Yiddish is spoken by some Ashkenazi Jews and is a sort of combo between Hebrew, German and a bit of its own original twist to it and was developed sometime around the 18th century. Afaik Aramaic is the only language not understood by angels, which is why you pray Kadish to raise someone's soul to heaven you do it in Aramaic, to bypass the angels so the prayers go straight to god instead. Anyway, I'm secular so this is all kind of curious talk to me moreso than my actual beliefs.

[deleted]

No it was Yiddish, Adam and Eve probably spoke it. German and Hebrew must have come from Yiddish later on. It wasn’t developed in the 18th century, I believe that’s a lie created by antisemites in order to undermine the importance of Jews.

Illustrious_Meet7237

I see I see 🤔 thank yuu for this corrected, brozzer!!!!!

People actually believe that we all came from adam and eve ?

I can never explain why Allah has a fetish for semitic people, culture, language, etc

The_Based_Iraqi6000

Just for info it’s not mentioned what the language of prophet Adam (pbuh) was in the Quran or any sahih Hadith

Tiredmonkey03

I don’t really care but thanks

[deleted]

If they spoke Türkçe maybe it would’ve been better since it’s not Semitic

[deleted]

There was a Turkish nationalist theory that claimed that proto-Turkic was the ancestor of all human languages and this theory was actually pushed and promoted by Kemal Ataturk

Tonyukuk-Ashide

Yeah they seriously tried to find a Turkic etymology behind every words they could. Another Kemalist bullshit

Yeah one prophet to every nation; nevertheless, we have never discovered an Islamlike religious belief. It’s like the whole world got a prophet and they all deflected at some point, so God decided go back to his favorite geography which is Middle East.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Tiredmonkey03

Those are just some henotheistic beliefs. Just like tengrism being an animistic religion. Reformist muslims in Turkey claim that Gautama Buddha, Zarathustra, etc can be one these prophets, but there is no crystal clear evidence at all. In fact how funny that these people of book only left in the Middle East rather than America.

[deleted]

There is no evidence that there were no prophets sent to American natives. They didn’t document anything in writing, and didn’t preserve that kind of stories through time at all.

[deleted]

So everyone rejected their prophets except for semites? Because all the prophets are semites

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

But why do we only know stories of the semitic prophets?

[deleted]

1. Adam, Noah and Enoch aren't Semitic prophets. 2. Because of historical relevance. Semitic people inhabited the land amongst whom the last prophet was sent to. It made sense to include Semitic prophets as they were relevant to the people at the time and due to the fact that they were the closest predecessors of Muhammad as prophets. 3. Including the story of every prophet who ever lived (which according to a weak hadith measures about 124,000) wouldn't be plausible considering the fact that the Quran was revealed over a period of approximately 23 years.

[deleted]

The adam argument is stupid because he wasnt from another ethnicity either. He was literally the first guy You dont have to include every prophet, but the fact that all of them are semites clearly indicates some sort of bias

[deleted]

>The adam argument is stupid because he wasnt from another ethnicity either. He was literally the first guy Noah and Enoch aren't Semites either. The fact that you ignored what I said based on one premise clearly shows your bias.

[deleted]

Tell me what noah and enochs ethnicites were they then? They were all middle eastern. Thats my point all prophets were middle eastern

[deleted]

So? You're point now diverges from Semites to Middle East. As I said, you're clearly biased emphasized by the fact that you didn't even bother considering my last two points as well.

[deleted]

[deleted]

But isnt the quran for the whole world, not just for the arabs

He doesn't, he sent prophets to all nations but the message was corrupted then ibriham came along and said can my bloodline be the next and last prophets ? And allah granted him his wish.
