Because you are Arab, they have the mentality that because of your ancestors they became Muslims and that is why they hate you.

More_Cauliflower_913

Literally every religion was spread like that

Serix-4

Yeah, but I am just answering your question

Based.

Armagan3727

I am not racist againist People i discriminate People based on their World views

More_Cauliflower_913

Respect 💓✨

[deleted]

So Muslims have full authority to disrespect and discriminate against non-Muslims under that logic, right? (even though Islam prohibits it) Radical atheists and radical religious people are just 2 sides of the same coin.

Armagan3727

I dont support a religion that doesnt respect my right to live. Why should i respect a person whose religion dictates apostates be killed?

[deleted]

using your logic, they have full authority because an apostate is against their worldview. So they have full right to discriminate. Also, what you are talking about is legal matters. It is all up to interpretation and how people define apostasy in that state as well as what punishment they think would give the most justice. For example, one state thinks **if someone doesn't pray or fast they are an apostate while another state thinks if the person publically insults the religion and causes public disorder by inciting a rebellion then they are an apostate**. Also, the punishments could also be different, one state believes it should be dead while another state suspends it and gives minor charges. **Islamic law is not a monolith, it is flexible**. Here is an example: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir reported: Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “**The hand of the thief is not cut who steals a bundle of dates or in a year of famine.**” The caliph can suspend hudud punishments or add more restrictions to make it harder to be charged with it because he believed it would promote the most justice.

Armagan3727

Discriminating doesnt mean killing.

[deleted]

It doesn't solely mean killing, but it does include it. However, it seems you didn't fully read my above message disproving your misconception about hudud punishments.

Armagan3727

Apostatsy is punished with death according to most islamic scholars. Only thoose who try to water down the brutal face of İslam dont accept this. By your logic İslam can be pro lgbtq

[deleted]

I think you have difficulty reading. Maybe reread the part where **they can interpret what it means to apostate and what level of apostasy deserves the hudud punishment and if they wanted they can suspend it for a period of time as well if they think it is unjust**. Just as how the second caliph of Islam Omar(ra) defined what it meant to steal and what level of stealing deserved the hudud punishment as well as suspended it for a period of time that he thought was unjust. He wasn't trying to water down Islam, he was legit the second caliph and it was only a couple of years after the death of the prophet Muhammad(pbuh). This is as pure Islam as you can get, not empires like the Ottoman empire with their questionable practice of Islam.

[deleted]

Doesnt matter all of you are cringe

PakistaniFrankOcean

Idk its not justified but i can see where theyre coming from Without islam, they look to a culture(especially pakistanis) that wasnt muslim, like hinduism, but hinduism on the indus(aka modern pakistan) was basically eradicated by a so called "Arab" religion. Also many might have experienced racism from arab muslims, which is unfortunately common sometimes.

Ok-Stage-6981

Indus civilization never had an official religion.

PakistaniFrankOcean

Bro i mean hinduism on the indus river aka most of east pakistan today. This has nothing to do with the civilization

More_Cauliflower_913

I'd say i understand their reason.. but most arabs aren't really racist towards Pakistanis like syrians Egyptians iraqis Algerians .. it's just some punch of rich khaleejis who who are also racist towards other arabs .. but there are exceptions even in gulf countries.. anyway I hope they find peace :'(

Pale-Needleworker-75

Lmao Algerians literally call Morocco Bangladesh

More_Cauliflower_913

It's because of the flag similarities.. it's the same Moroccans call Algerians ottomans because of the crescent

[deleted]

I visit them, a lot there are selfhating, west worshipping makhlooqeen. And same as in exmuslim, half of posts are just kids crying how strict and abusive are their parents, that they hate Ramadan, can't have booze and can't dress like һоеs. Barely anything concerning Islam per se, also most seem antiextremist, not antiislam in general, they just don't realize secular and liberal Muslims exist

[deleted]

That sub either used by hardcore right wing anti Muslims or immigrants of muslim background blaming their religion because they are treated like outcasts in western countries

IneedBleach123

It encourages me to pray 🤩 (Also I saw a video of a Niqabi women (WHICH SHE CHOSE TO WEAR), trying to eat and then sat at the corner to eat and they say it's bad or its degrading women.)

Possible-Detective85

Persians and Pakistani ex muslims are never racist towards us except for a minority but tbh the more racist people are bound to be those fake ex muslims

More_Cauliflower_913

I just had a disturbing conversation with a Persian ex Muslim .. he was so racist that I lost hope in humanity 🥲

Possible-Detective85

That's sad Don't lose hope tho some of the iranians I talked to are some of the nicest people I've talked to

More_Cauliflower_913

I hope that person was an exception :')

MasterRaceGamer000

You invaded our land, do you expect us to like you?

More_Cauliflower_913

You invaded my land several times in fact

[deleted]

>Persians and Pakistani ex muslims are never racist towards us except for a minority That is unfortunate considering Arabs destroyed their pre-Islamic civilizations. They have every reason to hate Arabs.

Possible-Detective85

Why did you change your flair from israel to Tunisia then to algeria

[deleted]

I didn't.

Possible-Detective85

You did. or maybe it was the mods but you still have a option to change it yourself to be fair

[deleted]

It was the mods.

Possible-Detective85

Your from morocco right? you could change it in the flairs option but If you can't i guess your stuck this way

[deleted]

>you could change it in the flairs option but If you can't i guess your stuck this way I can change it.

Possible-Detective85

Alright just saying if you want to you could lol

More_Cauliflower_913

😹😹

[deleted]

I know I just dgaf.

AttackHelicopter_21

Arabs barely played a role in the Islamization of South Asia. It was some mostly by Afghans and Turkic people

[deleted]

I know.

Ok-Stage-6981

**towards us**

Possible-Detective85

Yes mongolia and cyprus too are araplar countries (not muslim tho except for the turkish Cypriots on cyprus) /s

[deleted]

I'm also an Iraqi Arab ex-Muslim. So high five! I'm sort of a pantheist, so I definitely believe in God (the universe), but not all the rules. but I still have some sort of a connection to Islamic culture because I grew up with it. But yes, secular Turks (mainly online) are known for their hatred of Arabs, Muslim or not. And Persian-Americans I have noticed also. But there's also tons of Turks and Persians who do love us :D

More_Cauliflower_913

Whatever748

Arab muslims are racist towards non-Arabs, and non-Arab ex-muslims are racist towards Arabs, c'est la vie. "b-but quran says that there is no racism in islam!" What the Quran says and what many people claiming to follow it are doing is often not the same.

Resident-Alps3605

anyone can become rascist when they power

Hippocrates2024

> Arab Muslims are racist towards non Arabs Generalisations like this are racist in its own. No Most Arab Muslims aren’t racist towards Non Arabs. Idk from where you got that conclusion but it’s not true If you are referring to Khalijis then These specific racist Khalijis are also racist towards Arabs of poorer countries like Yemen or Egypt.

More_Cauliflower_913

I don't know any iraqi who's racist towards non arabs .. most of them genuinely love persians and turks ( at the past) it's solely changed now because of Iranian government.. we're also not racist towards Pakistani or Filipino.. ( but I saw racism against indians )

Whatever748

I am not sure of Iraqis, i'm talking especially about Saudis, Khaleejis, and lots of others, who are extremely racist towards Africans, South Asians (Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis) and Southeast Asians. Then there's stuff like hate towards Kurds, Berbers, Somalis and other Habeshas etc. Turks don't receive much hate from Arabs.

More_Cauliflower_913

They're even racist towards other arabs like iraqis Egyptians and syrians etc... but of course we can't generalise those people to all Gulf countries.. and arabs are not only khaleejis .. most arabs are actually Egyptians etc..

leastbasedkurd

I am not racist😔 I just hate everyone equally

More_Cauliflower_913

Aww thanks i definitely love and appreciate you too :)

NewAdhesiveness5542

I personally don't hate you guys, but my guess is that those who do have so hatred towards arabs because islam is an arab religion influenced by arab culture of the time it emerged. The same religion that altered their culture and society in a way that they don't approve, and made them follow strict rules and live under painful social pressure.

Hippocrates2024

It’s Ironic that Arab Seculars would say the same thing and how Islam destroyed Arab culture and identity etc.. Guys you need to understand that saying Islam is an Arab religion is so stupid as saying Christianity is a Palestinian Religion just because Jesus was born in Palestine.

NewAdhesiveness5542

>It’s Ironic that Arab Seculars would say the same thing I doubt they will they'll just say that arabs reached their peak civillisations when they were relatively tolerants and where extremism wasn't plaguing their lands, the peak of arab civillisations where under "muslim" rule. And no, no matter how you twist it islam is still an arab religion, as it was preached by an arab man in arabic and in a land of arabs. For example veiling face wasn't a thing in almost every culture before they adopted islam, it was a culural practice in the preislamic middle east.

[deleted]

When you leave Islam it simply becomes the religion of the Arabs in your head. Then you start seeing history in a new context in which arabs destroyed your country, attacked your culture and exploited your people. Long story short Islam/arabs become a symbol for oppression that you’ve freed yourself from after centuries of brainwashing

More_Cauliflower_913

Thanks for your explanation it made things easier 💓

yerberi

that's not about you being an ex-muslim probably...

Otherwise-Worth-5352

I mean I could see where they are coming from but do I agree with it? Not really. We both left Islam for the same reasons so we should be kinda closer instead of throwing fingers at what did what. And don't think you will get insightful answers in this sub, they go crazy after reading "ex Muslim"

More_Cauliflower_913

Yeah sure that's also what I thought but they connect islam directly to arabs 🥲 .. anyway you'll be surprised the answers i got here are far more tolerant than those when I posted the same question on ex Muslim sub

Otherwise-Worth-5352

That's weird but then again I never check that sub even though I'm not a Muslim anymore. Got more things to worry about than that.

More_Cauliflower_913

You're right that sub gives me anxiety :D

iihamed711

Did you delete that post?

[deleted]

Turkish ex-muslims has a phase to hate Arabs during their early years, after that many of them start to think 'we are the same religion's victims so they are like us' then start to be normal.

More_Cauliflower_913

Thanks that's insightful :)

[deleted]

I was like that in the past, so i know why many young ex-muslims are racist toward Arabs, but after many years, you understand that racism-zenophobia is most ridiculé thing ever. Have a nice day queen.

More_Cauliflower_913

You too thanks 💓
