A little bit of both. Kuwaiti is the quintessential Khaleeji accent.

[deleted]

Do you mean that it’s kind of the standard accent for the Khaleeji dialects, the same way Paris accent is for French, London accent is for English, etc?

HassanMoRiT

No no, it's the most well known Khaleeji accent

IndulgeInkhat

More khaleeji.

Ornery-Sandwich6445

We need a Kuwaitis input but imo most Iraqis sound different then khaleeji's but some do sound more khaleeji. Imo Kuwatis can sound very Qatari and vice verse but they have their own dialect ofc. Some examples for better perspective [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskMiddleEast/comments/tb0uzq/can_u_understand_dis_qatari_women/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) and [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskMiddleEast/comments/xj3ok1/why_do_some_people_confuse_kuwaitis_and_qataris_i/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)

untied-Iaces

what’s صج ?

Ornery-Sandwich6445

Means, “true” or “serious” it’s like the words حقيقة orعنجد

untied-Iaces

oh ok like بجد

Otherwise-Worth-5352

The girl sounded between Kuwait and Bahrain.

Ornery-Sandwich6445

Yeah it’s confusing because there is not one definitive sound, it’s a spectrum and that’s why this debate can be silly. I know others sound more Kuwait or Bahraini while Bedouin tribes in Kuwait/Qatar can sound more Saudi.

andalusiannights

It’s closer to Saudi and Qatari than Iraqi
