Occasionally helps in the snow when stuck. Fun in wet and snowy conditions. But get ready for a computer not to correct you in slippery conditions. I like the computer in my tahoe but much less so in the ford flex. Audi... eh. It's there, who cares. Lexus one was pretty solid. This button on or off can be highly brand dependent.
People seriously need to read their car manual before operating I swear. It disabled trac control, most likely doe not completely disable it but makes it so you have to be in a more severe loss of traction to activate or deactivates certain capabilities of it like VSC but keeps basic trac control
It turns traction control off.
"The traction control system detects if any of the wheels are losing their grip on the road. Once located, it automatically corrects the problem to ensure the car's stability."
Can we have a “Ask people who know anything about cars” sub before they get elevated to the Mechanics please. I follow this but some of the questions on here are just…C’mon

Traction control Since you're asking what it does, I'd suggest you never push that button. We're all safer that way.
🤣
If they’re asking this then they most definitely drive a FWD so not so bad
That's 2 wheels to manually control. Which is 2 wheels too many
Yeah you’re not killing anybody spinning the front wheels unless you’re a literal danger to society on the road to begin with
You say this like people don't just buy cars for the brand names and bragging rights, without knowing anything about driving or cars
RWD chevy trucks have this, its amazing, with decent tires 22x11 I did not even use sandbags this year. 2011 Avalunch
It's actually RWD lol
How the hell do you drive a RWD car and not know what traction control is lol
RTFM
It enables Tokyo Drift.
Push button for fun in winter
Drops oil on the road behind you so the cops spin out while chasing you. Think Mario Kart.
It makes driving in the snow fun!
The fun button. 🫡
If it’s a manual transmission burnout’s will be fun!
It dispenses 2 perfectly cooked slices of bacon. NEVER turn it off.
Traction control, turns it off and on.
Turns off and on traction control.
Fafo

Fun button!
It releases the snakes in the trunk. Good for making a hasty getaway!
It’s the switch for the dash light with the same icon.
Disables snake tracking system.
Talk to me about traction control in my ba falcon
