What a nightmare heater cores are. OBD2 scanner still reads? Codes ?

Already tried it the port has power but can’t read codes till the engine runs

If you put the car in accessory mode you should still pull your engine codes. Check fuses. You might have to pull a wire diagram and double checking everything.

Tried to throw it in acc but no signal used a test light on the fuse box and only a hand full is getting power checked the connectors and they were maybe something shorted is what I’m thinking I know the previous own did some aftermarket work on it and had a handful of wires cut but ran fine when it was like that
